DANGER

  • When an engine is operating, keep the service area WELL VENTILATED or attach a building exhaust removal system to the engine exhaust system. Engines produce carbon monoxide, an odorless, poisonous gas that causes slower reaction time and can lead to serious personal injury or loss of life.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Always perform automotive testing in a safe environment.
  • Operate the vehicle in a well-ventilated work area, for exhaust gases are poisonous.
  • Put the transmission in PARK (for automatic transmission) or NEUTRAL (for manual transmission) and make sure the parking brake is engaged.
  • Put blocks in front of the drive wheels and never leave the vehicle unattended while testing.
  • Do not connect or disconnect any test equipment while the ignition is on or the engine is running. Keep the test equipment dry, clean, free from oil, water or grease. Use a mild detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the equipment as necessary.
  • Do not drive the vehicle and operate the test equipment at the same time. Any distraction may cause an accident.
  • Refer to the service manual for the vehicle being serviced and adhere to all diagnostic procedures and precautions.
  • Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the test equipment.
  • To avoid damaging the test equipment or generating false data, make sure the vehicle battery is fully charged and the connection to the vehicle DLC is clean and secure.

General Introduction

  1. Vehicle Data Connector (16-pin) – connects the device to the vehicle’s 16-pin DLC directly.
  2. Power LED – indicates system status:
    • Solid Green: Lights solid green when the device is plugged in and not connected with your phone or tablet;
    • Solid Blue: Lights solid blue when your phone or tablet is connected with the device via Bluetooth.
    • Flashing Blue: Flashes blue when your phone or tablet is communicating with the device;
    • Solid Red: Lights solid red when the device is update failed, you need to forced upgrade in the app.

Login or Sign Up

  • Open the DFirstCoder App and tap Register near the bottom right of the screen.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration.
  • Login with your registered email address and password.

Connect Device And Bind VCI

  • Plug the connector of the device into the vehicle’s Data Link Connector(DLC). (The vehicle’s DLC is generally located above the driver’s footrest)
  • Turn the vehicle ignition to Key On, Engine Off position. (The LED on the tool will light solid green when connected)

  • Open the DFirstCoder APP, tap Home > VCI Status, select your device and connect to it in the APP
  • After the Bluetooth connection, wait until the app detected the VIN, finally bind account, VIN and VCI.(For users who purchase full car service or annual subscription)

  • The bound account and vehicle can be coded with the current device for free, you can use all the functions of your device, such as: Disable Auto Start-Stop, Start animation, Instrument,Locking sound logo etc.

Find My Function Description

Our 201BT Tag device was certified by Apple Inc. and it offers an extra “Find My” function (only available for iPhone) outside the typical 201BT series device, “Find My” function is an extremely easy way to keep track of your vehicle, and 201TB Tag can be shared with up to five people, such as your family and friends, so you can track the location of your vehicle on a map at anytime and anywhere.

Let’s Add Your 201BT Tag on the Find My App

Open your “Find My App”> click “Add Item”> choose “Other Supported Item”> Add your 201BT Tag device. After adding your device, its location can be tracked and displayed on your map. Keep your device plugged into your vehicle’s OBD port, if your vehicle is nearby, the “Find My” function can show the exact distance and direction to lead you track it, and you can erase or remove your devices anytime.

Privacy Protection

Only you and you shared with people can track your 201BT Tag location. Your location data and history are never stored on the device, it managed by Apple Inc., anyone cannot be allowed to access your data if you don’t want. When you use “Find My” function, each step is encrypted, your privacy and security are always protected.

WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY

Warranty

  • Thank you for your interest in the products and service of QIXIN. QIXIN’s devices provide a 12 month warranty, and provides replacement-only service for users.
  • The warranty only adapts to QIXIN’s devices and does apply to non-human quality defects only. If there are any non-human defects of quality in products within the warranty period, users can choose to replace with a new device via e-mail (support@dreamautos.net) leave us a message.

RETURN POLICY

  • QIXIN offers a 15 days no reason return policy for users, but the products must be original package and without any using mark when we receiving them.
  • Users can within 15 days submit an application in ‘My QD’> ‘Order details’ to return the QD if execution fails after ordering. And if users are unsatisfied with the successfully executed effect, need to restore the data and submit an application to return the0 corresponding QD.
    • (NOTE: THE RETURN TERM ONLY VALID TO USERS WHO MERELY PURCHASE DEVICE.)
  • Users can open the hardware package which are purchased from online for inspection but not be used. Based on this requirement, users can obtain the no reason to return within the 15 days period, according to the delivery date.
  • Users can recharge QD to unlock features, if users were not used the QD within 45 days, they can submit return application to return recharge. (For more details about QD, please check on the DFirstCoder App ‘Mine’ > ‘About QD’ or website bottom of the ‘shop’ page)
  • If users purchased the full vehicle service package and need to apply to return, will deduct the corresponding cost for having been used features, that’s so the return fee will be adjusted accordingly. Or user can choose to recover they were used features, in this case, they can enjoy return full fee of order.
  • We cannot return the freight or during shipping incurred cost for users order. Once users apply to return, they need to pay for the return freight and during shipping incurred cost, and user need to return all of original package contents.
