- Files Needed: AlphaMk2.bin for main system, ABSYSPan.bin for panel board CPU
Ke hoʻonui nei i ka Alpha Base Mk II OS ma o ka kāleka SD:
- Hoʻoiho i ka mea e pono ai file AlphaMk2.bin and copy it to the root directory of the SD card.
- Insert the SD card into the Alpha Base Mk II and press (DISK) to initiate the update process.
- E hoʻokele e hoʻouka i ka ʻōnaehana OS file AlphaMk2.bin and press (Enter).
- Confirm the update when prompted and wait for the programming to finish without turning off the device.
- After completion, turn off and on the Alpha Base Mk II to see the new version number.
Hoʻohou i ka Alpha Base Mk II Panelboard CPU OS ma ke kāleka SD:
- Hoʻoiho i ka mea e pono ai file ABSYSPan.bin and copy it to the root directory of the SD card.
- Insert the SD card into the Alpha Base Mk II and press (DISK) to start the update process.
- E koho e hoʻouka Panel CPU OS file ABSYSPan.bin and confirm the update.
- Allow the system blocks to be copied to the panel board CPU memory without interrupting the process.
- Observe the LEDs indicating the updating progress and once completed, continue using the Alpha Base Mk II.

- Now press (Enter). The display shows:

- The Alpha Base MkII has a separate panel board CPU that performs the scanning of encoders and buttons, processes the RGB LEDs and the OLED graphics display.
