First-Time Setup
Automatic Earbud Connection
1. Initial Setup:
A. Take the earbuds out of the charging case and remove the stickers.
B. Press and hold for more than 3 seconds on each earbud. When a blue and white light flashes on one earbud, it means it is ready to pair with your device.

Connect to Bluetooth
Select 'JLab Epic Air ANC' in your device's Bluetooth settings. You will hear a two-beep audio prompt followed by a solid white light indicating you are connected.

Add New / More Bluetooth Devices
Turn OFF Bluetooth on all previously connected devices. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. Take the earbuds out of the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab Epic Air ANC' in the new device's settings to connect.
Controls
Left Sensor:
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Siri (iOS) or 'OK Google' (Android): Double tap
- Be Aware / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for more than 1 second.
- Switch EQ: Triple tap
Right Sensor:
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Play / Pause: Double tap
- Next Track: Press and hold for more than 1 second.
- Switch EQ: Triple tap
- Answer Call: Single tap on left or right
- Hang Up Call: Double tap on left or right
- Reject Incoming Call: Long press for more than 1 second on left or right
Music / Movie Mode: Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for more than 3 seconds.
Audio Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Pairing: 'Ready to pair'. Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
- Be Aware On/Off: 1 Beep / 2 Beeps
- ANC On/Off: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps. Earbud is connected to the device.
- Full Battery: 'Battery Full' (100–80%)
- Medium Battery: 'Battery Medium' (80-20%)
- Low Battery: 'Low Battery' (Less than 20%. When battery level drops to 10%, 'Low Battery' will play once)
- Power Off: Chime
Turn Off Without Case: Turn off Bluetooth in your device settings. The earbuds will turn off after 3 minutes.
EQ Modes
Triple tap one of the earbuds for different EQ settings. Audio prompts will indicate the EQ settings (Epic Air ANC will cycle through 4 EQ settings). Customize each EQ setting by downloading the JLab Sound app from the Apple / Google Play Store.
- JLab Signature: JLab C3™ signature sound with boosted vocals and bass
- Balanced: Even sound with no additional sound enhancements
- Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass
- Custom: Custom EQ setting (download the JLab Sound app to customize)
Automatic Power On/Off
1. Charging: When you place the earbuds in the charging case, the earbuds will turn OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging, and they will turn off when fully charged.

2. Power On: When removed from the charging case, they will automatically turn ON and connect.

Wired Charging
Connect Epic Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A power source (or less).

LEDs pulse white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
Wireless Charging
Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad.

Fit
Try all ear tips for the best fit and proper seal.
Insert into your ear canal and rotate slightly to adjust for the best fit.

Troubleshooting
No Sound in One Earbud or Earbuds Are Disconnected (Manual Reset)
1. Forget Device: Open your Bluetooth device settings and 'Forget' JLab Epic Air ANC. [Fig. A]
2. Reset Left Earbud: Leave the earbuds in the charging case and quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times on the left earbud. The light will flash blue 4 times. [Fig. C]
3. Reset Right Earbud: Repeat with the right earbud. Quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 4 times. [Fig. C]
4. Reconnect: Take both earbuds out of the charging case. Wait until one earbud lights solid white and one flashes blue/white. You are now ready to connect to your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Device Cannot Connect / Reconnect
1. Forget Device: Open your Bluetooth device settings and 'Forget' JLab Epic Air ANC. [Fig. A]
2. Toggle Bluetooth: Turn Bluetooth OFF and then ON. [Fig. B]
3. Re-pair: Take the earbuds out of the case. Wait until one earbud lights solid white and one flashes blue/white.
4. Connect: Select 'JLab Epic Air ANC' in your device settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Simply take one out of the case to connect it.
- Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on your chosen device to connect.
- Dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case to avoid damaging the case.
Warning
Dry the earbuds completely before placing them in the charging case. The charging case will be damaged if the earbuds are damp or wet. Warranty will be voided if the charging case shows damage from water/sweat.
Caution
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax may build up in the ear tip, which can degrade sound quality. Gently clean with a Q-tip or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use for a period.
- If you experience persistent discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- We recommend treating your earbuds like expensive sunglasses, storing them in a safe place when not in use.
