Initial Setup

1. Automatic Connection

A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.

B. Press and hold both earbuds for at least 3 seconds. A flashing blue and white light on one earbud indicates it is ready for pairing.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" from your device's settings. You will hear two audio cues ?, followed by a solid white light, indicating you are connected.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. The earbuds will automatically attempt to connect via Bluetooth. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your new device's settings to connect.

Controls

Left Touch Sensor

Volume Down: Single tap.
Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap.
Aware Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for at least 1 second.
Change EQ: Triple tap.

Right Touch Sensor

Volume Up: Single tap.
Play / Pause: Double tap.
Next Track: Press and hold for at least 1 second.
Change EQ: Triple tap.

Call Handling

Answer Call: Single tap on left or right earbud.
End Call: Double tap on left or right earbud.
Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1+ second on left or right earbud.

Music / Movie Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for at least 3 seconds.

Powering Off Without Charger

Turn off Bluetooth on your device. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.

Audio Signals

Power On: Tone ?.
Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to pair". The Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
Power On/Off Warning: 1 beep ? / 2 beeps ?.
ANC On / Off: Tone ?.
Bluetooth Connected: 2 beeps ?. The earbuds are connected to your device.
Battery Full: "Battery Full" (100-80%).
Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (80-20%).
Battery Low: "Battery Low" (below 20%. A single tone ? will sound once when power reaches 10%).
Power Off: Tone ?.

EQ Modes

Tap either earbud three times to cycle through EQ settings. Audio cues ? indicate the selected EQ mode. The Epic Air ANC offers 4 EQ settings. For full customization, download the JLab Sound app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

JLab SIGNATURE: JLab's signature sound, with enhanced vocals and bass.
BALANCED: Even sound profile without extra processing.
BASS BOOST: Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
BEEP: Custom EQ setting (download the JLab Sound app for customization).

Automatic On / Off

1. Placing the earbuds in the charging case will turn them off and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging, and the lights will turn off when the earbuds are fully charged.

2. When removed from the charging case, the earbuds will automatically turn ON and connect.

Wireless Charging

Connect the Epic Air ANC charging case to a computer or other USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source.

Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad.

LEDs will flash white while charging and remain solid white when the earbuds are fully charged.

Fit

Try all ear tips to find the best fit and seal. Insert into your ear canal and twist slightly for the best fit.

Find My Earbuds

Download the Tile app and activate it to find your earbuds. More information is available at intl.jlab.com/tileapp.

Activating the Tile app may reduce earbud battery life.

Download the App

Customize your Epic Air ANC features and update to the latest software. Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Troubleshooting

No Sound / Earbuds Not Connected (Manual Reset)

Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and disconnect "JLab Epic Air ANC". [Description: Screenshot of phone Bluetooth settings.]
Place earbuds in the charging case and tap one earbud's touch sensor 7 times. The blue light will flash 4 times. [Description: Image showing earbud being tapped 7 times.]
Repeat for the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times quickly. The blue light will flash 4 times. [Description: Image showing earbud being tapped 7 times.]
Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light and the other to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait for one earbud to show a solid white light and the other to flash blue/white.
In your device settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC" to reconnect.

Quick Tips

The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Simply select one and remove it from the case to connect.
Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device for connection.
Before placing earbuds in the charging case, ensure the earbuds are completely dry to prevent damage to the case.

Precautions

Avoid excessive heat, cold, and moisture.
Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
Earwax may accumulate in the ear tips, which can degrade sound quality. To improve sound quality, carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool.
If you experience discomfort or pain, reduce the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
If you experience persistent discomfort while using the product, stop use and consult a doctor.
We recommend handling your earbuds with the same care as sunglasses and storing them in a safe place between uses.

WARNING: Fully dry your earbuds before placing them in the charging case. If the earbuds are damp or wet, it will damage the charging case. Warranty will be void if the charging case shows water/sweat damage.
