Initial Setup

Step 1: Connecting the Earbuds

A. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers. (Diagram: Earbuds removed from case, sticker being peeled off).

B. Press and hold each earbud for 3 seconds. If the blue and white indicator lights on one earbud flash, they are ready to pair with your device. (Diagram: Earbuds with flashing blue/white lights, text "Press and hold for 3 seconds").

Step 2: Connecting Bluetooth

In your device settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC". Connection is confirmed by two beeps and a solid white indicator light on the earbuds. (Diagram: Phone screen showing Bluetooth settings, "JLab Epic Air ANC" selected and "Connected". Earbuds with solid white lights).

Adding New or Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth from previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device settings to connect.

Controls

Left Touch Sensor

Volume Down: Single tap.
Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap.
ANC On/Off: Press and hold for 1 second.
Change EQ: Triple tap.

Right Touch Sensor

Volume Up: Single tap.
Play/Pause: Double tap.
Skip Forward: Press and hold for 1 second.
Change EQ: Triple tap.

Answering Calls

Answer Call: Single tap on left or right earbud.
End Call: Double tap on left or right earbud.
Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second on left or right earbud.

Music/Movie Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between Music/Movie modes.

Powering Off Without Charging

Turn off Bluetooth via your device settings. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.

Sound Prompts

Power On: Chime.
Bluetooth Pairing: "Pairing ready." Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
ANC On/Off: Chime.
Bluetooth Connection: Two beeps. Earbuds are connected to your device.
Battery Status: "Fully Charged" (100-80%), "Half Charged" (80-20%), "Low battery" (Below 20%. "Low battery" will play once when power drops to 10%).
Power Off: Chime.

Equalizer (EQ) Modes

Triple tap any earbud to cycle through EQ settings. Sound prompts will indicate the selected EQ (Epic Air ANC cycles through 4 EQ settings). Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple/Google Play Store to customize each EQ setting.

JLab SIGNATURE (1 beep): Emphasizes vocals and bass with JLab C3™ signature sound.
BALANCED (2 beeps): Balanced sound.
BASS BOOST (3 beeps): Enhances bass and sub-bass.
Beep (Custom EQ): Customize EQ settings (Download the JLab Sound app to customize).

Power On/Off

Step 1: Power Off

Place the earbuds in the charging case. The earbuds will power off and begin charging. The blue indicator light shows the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged. (Diagram: Earbuds placed in charging case, indicator lights shown).

Step 2: Power On

Remove the earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically power on and connect. (Diagram: Earbuds removed from case, phone showing "JLab Epic Air ANC Connected").

Charging

Wired Charging

Connect the Epic Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or lower) output device. (Diagram: USB cable connecting computer to charging case). The LED flashes white while charging and turns solid white when fully charged. (Diagram: Charging case with flashing white LED, then solid white LED).

Wireless Charging

Place the charging case on a wireless charging platform. (Diagram: Charging case on wireless charging pad). The LED flashes white while charging and turns solid white when fully charged. (Diagram: Charging case with flashing white LED, then solid white LED).

Fitting

Try all included ear tips to achieve the best fit. Insert the earbud into your ear and rotate slightly until it fits securely. (Diagram: Earbud inserted and rotated in ear).

Finding Your Earbuds

Download and enable the Tile app to find your earbuds. For more details, visit intl.jlab.com/tileapp. Enabling Tile may shorten earbud playtime. (Diagram: Tile logo and "FIND WITH TILE").

Downloading the App

Customize Epic Air ANC features and update to the latest software. Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple App Store ? or Google Play Store ▶️. (Diagram: App Store and Google Play logos, JLab Sound app icon).

Troubleshooting

One Earbud or Audio Disconnected (Manual Reset)

Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "forget" JLab Epic Air ANC. [Diagram A: Phone screen showing Bluetooth settings, "JLab Epic Air ANC" selected].
Tap the touch sensor on one earbud 7 times quickly. The light will flash blue 4 times. [Diagram C: Close-up of earbud touch sensor with indicator light].
Repeat for the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times quickly. The light will flash blue 4 times. [Diagram C].
Remove both earbuds from the charging case. One earbud will light solid white, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

Go to your Bluetooth device settings and "forget" JLab Epic Air ANC. [Diagram A].
Turn Bluetooth off and then on. [Diagram B: Phone screen showing Bluetooth toggle].
Remove the earbuds from the charging case. One earbud will light solid white, and the other will flash blue/white.
Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips

The left or right earbud can be used individually for music and calls. Simply select and remove from the case.
Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth for the desired device to connect.
Ensure the earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage.

Warnings

Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
Do not drop or crush the earbuds.
Earwax buildup on the earbud tips can degrade sound quality. Carefully remove earwax using a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound.
If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or discontinue use temporarily.
If persistent discomfort occurs during product use, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Handle the earbuds with care, similar to sunglasses, and store them in a safe place when not in use.
