The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the end user's sole responsibility.

Safety Warnings
⚠️ WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
⚠️ FALL HAZARD:
Children have suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, when falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if the child is not restrained properly.
- Always use restraints and adjust to fit snugly.
- The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair.
- Stay near and watch the child during use.
- Never allow the child to push away from the table.
⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD:
Do not place the High Chair in any location where there are cords, such as window blind cords, drapes, or phone cords.
⚠️ CHILD RESTRAINT:
The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether in the reclining, semi-reclining, or upright position. The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. The high chair should only be used by children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age. See page 10 for instructions on proper use of the restraint system.
Additional Warnings:
- Other accessory items may change the balance of the high chair and cause hazardous unstable conditions.
- Be certain the high chair is fully erect and latched in the open position before allowing the child near the high chair.
- This high chair is designed for a child with a maximum weight of 40 pounds (18.14 kg).
- NEVER allow your high chair to be used as a toy.
- NEVER use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service at 1-800-328-7363 for replacement parts, repair, or instructions. NEVER substitute parts.
Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation, follow these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.
IMPORTANT! Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
? ATTENTION:
Carefully remove parts from the box. Check that you have all parts for this model before assembling. Some models may come with the seat fabric and insert attached to the seat back.
- Locate the seat base. From the rear, remove the metal hinge rod from the base. Press the latch down and slide the rod out.
- Intersect the seat base with the seat back at the joint. Press the latch down to insert the hinge rod through the seat back and seat base. Slide the rod firmly until it stops. Ensure the latch is moved up to secure the rod and seat.
- Slide the left and right Height Brackets onto the Seat Base and lock them in place.
- Slide the Footrest onto the Seat Base and lock it into place.
- Insert the front tube of the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies into the Height Adjuster. The front tube has holes on the backside.
- Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and push the tube through the Height Adjusters until it locks in the highest position.
- Insert the front legs into the ends of the front tube of the Upper Frame Assemblies. Ensure lock buttons align with holes.
- Insert the rear legs into the ends of the rear tube of the Upper Frame Assemblies. Ensure lock buttons align with holes.
- Loop the flap on the back of the seat pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back with the two elastic loops, fitting them over the attachment tabs near the top harness slots. Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base with the two elastic loops located at the rear, fitting them over the attachment tabs where the seat back and base join. Attach each anchor hook of the Seat Pad to the side of the seat armrest, ensuring the slot of the anchor hook slides through the under side division.
Operation Instructions
Attaching and Operating the Tray
⚠️ WARNING: Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
⚠️ WARNING: The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. The child must be secured at all times by the 5-point restraining system, in any recline position.
- To attach the Tray, align the grooves on the bottom of the tray with the armrests. Squeeze the tray's release handle and slide the tray onto the armrests. The tray has a 3-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the handle underneath the tray and reposition it. Release the handle and check that the tray is securely locked.
- The dishwasher-safe Tray Insert snaps onto the High Chair Tray and is held by tabs. Ensure it snaps into place. To remove, unsnap the tabs. The tray can be stored on the back legs of the high chair by aligning its holes with the pegs on the back legs.
Using the Safety Belt
⚠️ WARNING: The high chair should only be used by children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age.
⚠️ WARNING: Prevent serious injury or death from falls or sliding out. Always use the restraint system. The child must be secured at all times by the 5-point restraining system, in any recline position.
The tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and watch the child during use. NEVER leave the child unattended.
- The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 2 positions. Select the position that places the strap level with, or below, the child's shoulders.
- Carefully place the child in the seat. Position the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male ends of the shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness snugly around the child's waist and over the shoulders.
Releasing the Safety Belt
- Push the button on the center clasp to release the two harness buckles.
Reclining the Seat
- Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired recline or upright position. Use caution not to trap arms, hands, or fingers when adjusting.
Adjusting Seat Height
⚠️ WARNING: Do not adjust seat height with child in seat. Adjust before placing child.
⚠️ WARNING: Always check that the height adjustment bracket is level and both sides are locked before placing child in the high chair.
⚠️ WARNING: Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins.
- Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and adjust to the ideal position. DO NOT adjust with child in the seat.
? ATTENTION:
Ensure height brackets lock in the lowest position. DO NOT rest height adjustment brackets on the locking pins.
Folding the High Chair
The high chair can be folded with the seat in any height position.
- Place the seat in the desired height position. Place the seat back in the most upright position.
- Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out.
- Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg.
- Pull upward on the release levers (on the sides of the frame) and push the rear legs inward until folded. The chair is now ready to be stored. DO NOT allow your child to play around a folded high chair as it may fall.
Unfolding the High Chair
Read the warning and see Figure 19, then reverse the folding steps.
⚠️ WARNING: Do not sit on the frame when the seat is not attached. Do not use the frame as a foot stool. Potential pinch point when opening the frame.
Reattaching the Seat Pad
(Note: Some models come with seat pad and insert attached.)
- Thread the non-buckle end of the harness straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through the slots in the seat fabric, insert, seat back, and seat base. Rotate the tabs 90 degrees to ensure straps are firmly in place.
- Loop the flap on the back of the pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back with the two elastic loops, fitting them over the attachment tabs near the top harness slots.
- Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base with the two elastic loops located at the rear, fitting them over the attachment tabs where the seat back and base join. Attach each anchor hook of the Seat Pad to the side of the seat armrest, ensuring the slot of the anchor hook slides through the under side division.
Removing the Seat Pad
Reverse the above steps.
Optional Seat Insert
- Place the seat insert onto the seat pad. Refer to step 20.
Maintenance and Care
⚠️ WARNING: Harness straps and basket are NOT washable.
Tray Insert: Dishwasher safe to 160°F (71°C). Do not use scouring pads as they can damage the surface.
High Chair/Tray: Clean after each use with mild dish soap and a damp cloth. Use only a soft bristle brush, sponge, or cloth. Do not submerge the high chair or tray in water. Surface clean only.
Seat Pad and Fabrics: Refer to the care label on individual pieces for cleaning instructions.
To remove seat pad: Remove harness straps by pushing attachment tabs through slots. Remove elastic loops from attachment tabs. To attach seat pad: Follow step 20 for re-threading the safety harness.
