The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

Safety Warnings
WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and assembly instructions could result in serious injury or death.
FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, when falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if the child is not restrained properly.
- ALWAYS use restraints and adjust to fit snugly.
- The child must be secured in the high chair at all times by the restraining system.
- The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair.
- The high chair should only be used by children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age.
- NEVER leave child unattended.
- Stay near and watch child during use.
- NEVER allow child to push away from the table.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Do not place the High Chair near cords (e.g., window blind cords, drapes, phone cords).
WARNING: The child must be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system. The tray is not designed to hold the child. Use only for children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age. See page 8 for restraint system instructions.
IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.
- Ensure the high chair is fully erect and locked in the use position before allowing a child near it.
- This high chair is designed for a child at least 6 months of age up to a maximum weight of 40 pounds (18.14 kg).
- NEVER allow your high chair to be used as a toy.
Assembly Instructions
General Precautions:
- NEVER use if any fasteners are loose or missing, joints are loose, parts are broken, or fabric/mesh is torn. Check before assembly and periodically during use.
- Contact Baby Trend Customer Service at 1-800-328-7363 for replacement parts, repair, or instructions. NEVER substitute parts.
- To ensure safe operation, follow instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
- Before assembly and each use, inspect for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if parts are missing or broken.
- Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
CAUTION: Only hold the top of the backrest during assembly. Fingers on the frame during folding/unfolding can result in entrapment or injury.
ATTENTION: Carefully remove parts from the box. Check you have all parts before assembling.
To Assemble Frame:
- Keep rear feet on the ground while extending the High Chair. Hold the top of the backrest with one hand, push the feet with the other, and pull up gently. The frame should lock into place when fully extended. [Diagrams illustrating frame assembly]
- Hook the lower D rings: 2 harness straps loop around the rear bar under the seat. The crotch strap loops around the front bar under the seat. Strap the D rings for the backrest to the rear bars. Strap the panels around the frame using snap button fasteners. [Diagrams illustrating frame assembly]
To Attach Feet:
- Align the feet to the bottom of each frame end (four total). Insert screws and fasten securely. Pull on feet to ensure they are secured. [Diagrams illustrating feet attachment]
To Attach Tray:
- Align tray grooves with armrest tracks. Squeeze the 2 release handles and slide the tray into the tracks. The tray has a 3-position adjustment; squeeze handles to reposition. Ensure the tray aligns with the indicator for all 3 positions. Release handles to latch securely. To remove, squeeze handles and slide out. [Diagrams illustrating tray attachment]
ATTENTION: The tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and watch the child during use. NEVER leave child unattended. Refer to Harness Straps on page 8.
Attaching the Leg Support:
- Align the Leg Support to the tubing and press firmly. Ensure pins lock into holes underneath. To remove, press the 2 pins simultaneously and pull the Leg Support from the tubing. [Diagrams illustrating leg support attachment]
To Use the Harness:
- Shoulder straps have 2 attachment positions. Select the position that places the strap level with or below the child's shoulder. [Diagram illustrating harness adjustment]
- To adjust harness height, unhook strap from crotch buckle. Feed strap through harness spread slots (accessed from rear of seat, under fabric). Reattach strap to buckle. Place crotch strap between child's legs. Insert male ends of shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten harness to be snug around the child's waist and over shoulders. To Release the Harness:
- RELEASE! Push the top and bottom release on the buckle; the two harness buckles will pop free. [Diagram illustrating harness release]
To Fold High Chair:
- Locate the latch on the rear. Slide lever left, then push inward. Push the high chair forward to fold the frame. Ensure the frame lever hooks into the knob when folded. [Diagrams illustrating folding]
The high chair can be folded with the tray and leg support attached.
To Unfold the High Chair:
- Always keep rear feet on the ground while extending. Hold top of backrest with one hand, push feet with the other, and pull up gently. The frame should lock into place when fully extended. [Diagrams illustrating unfolding]
Care and Maintenance
WARNING: Harness straps and storage basket are NOT washable. Use mild soap and water.
High Chair/Tray: Clean after each use with mild dish soap and a damp cloth. Use a soft bristle brush, sponge, or cloth to clean the surface or remove food particles. DO NOT submerge the chair or tray in water; surface clean only.
Non-Washable Seat Pad: Use mild soap and wipe with a damp cloth. NOT MACHINE WASHABLE.
To remove seat fabric for maintenance:
- Remove straps and undo 3 screws from armrests.
- Release side panels from snap buttons.
- Undo D rings.
- Pull fabric up from the backrest. Reverse steps to reattach.
