Assembly Instructions

To Assemble Seat

ATTENTION: Carefully remove parts from the box. Check that you have all parts before assembling.

NOTE: Some models may have the seat fabric and insert pre-attached to the seat back.

  1. Locate the Right and Left Upper Frame Assemblies and Height Brackets. Pair them as shown in the illustration.
  2. Identify the front tube (distinguished by holes on the back). Insert the left and right Height Brackets into the front tube of the Upper Frame Assembly. Squeeze the Release Handles simultaneously and push the tube through the Height Adjusters until it locks in the highest position.
  3. Insert the legs into the ends of the front tube of both upper frame assemblies. Ensure lock buttons align with holes for proper connection.
  4. Insert the remaining legs into the ends of the rear tube of both upper frame assemblies. Ensure lock buttons align with holes for proper connection.
  5. Insert metal tabs (1) and (2) into the seat base slot until secured. Ensure the backrest sits correctly in the base. The backrest must be in the most upright position before inserting pins. Press pins in fully to ensure seat parts are latched. Test the recline feature. CAUTION: Pins must engage both base and backrest.
  6. Align the Seat Base into the Height Brackets, ensuring they are locked.
  7. Slide the Footrest into the Height Bracket and lock it. To adjust height, squeeze both tabs simultaneously and lift. To remove, squeeze both tabs and pull out.
  8. Loop the flap on the back of the seat pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back using the two Elastic Loops, fitting them over the Attachment Tabs near the top harness slots.
  9. Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base using the two Elastic Loops at the rear of the Seat Pad, fitting them over the Attachment Tabs on the Seat Base where the Seat Back and Seat Base join.
  10. Attach each anchor hook of the Seat Pad to the side of the seat armrest, ensuring the hook's slot slides through the underside division.

To Attach Tray

WARNING: Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.

WARNING: The tray is not designed to hold the child. The child must be secured by the 5-point restraining system at all times.

  1. To attach the Tray, squeeze the release handle located underneath the tray and firmly press into the positioning slots.
  2. The Tray has a 4-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the release handle under the tray and reposition. Release the handle and check that the tray is securely locked.

To Attach Tray Insert: The dishwasher-safe Tray Insert snaps onto the High Chair Tray via side tabs. Ensure it snaps securely to prevent removal by the child. To remove, unsnap the tabs.

The Tray can be stored on the back legs of the High Chair by aligning its holes with the pegs on the back legs. To remove, lift the tray.

To Use Safety Belt

WARNING: Use only for children who can sit upright unassisted and are at least 6 months old.

WARNING: Prevent serious injury or death from falls. Always use the restraint system. The child must be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system (reclining, semi-reclining, or upright position).

The tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and supervise the child. NEVER leave the child unattended.

  1. The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 2 attachment positions. Select the position that places the strap level with, or below, the child's shoulders.
  2. Carefully place the child in the seat. Position the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male ends of the shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness snugly around the child's waist and over the shoulders.

To Release Safety Belt: Push the button on the Center Clasp; the two harness buckles will release.

Recline Seat

  1. Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired recline or upright position. Use caution to avoid trapping arms, hands, or fingers when adjusting.

To Adjust Seat Height

WARNING: Do not adjust seat height with child in seat. Adjust before placing child in the chair.

WARNING: Ensure height adjustment brackets are level and both sides are locked before placing child in the chair.

WARNING: Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins.

  1. Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides of the Height Adjustment bracket simultaneously and adjust to the desired position. DO NOT adjust with child in the seat.

ATTENTION: Ensure Height Brackets lock in the lowest position. Do not rest them on the locking pins.

To Fold High Chair

The high chair can be folded with the seat in any height position.

  1. Place the seat in the desired height position. Place the Seat Back in the most upright position.
  2. Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out.
  3. Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg.
  4. Pull upward on the release levers (on the sides of the frame) and push the rear legs towards the front legs until folded. The chair is now ready to store. DO NOT allow children to play around a folded high chair, as it may fall.

To Unfold High Chair: Read the warning and refer to Fig. 17, then reverse the steps.

WARNING: Do not sit on the frame when the seat is not attached. Do not use the frame as a foot stool. Potential pinch point when opening the frame.

To Reattach Seat Pad

NOTE: Some models come with the seat pad and insert pre-attached.

  1. Thread the non-buckle end of the harness straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through the provided slots in the seat fabric, seat insert, seat back, and seat base. Rotate the tabs 90 degrees once through the slots to ensure they are firmly in place.
  2. Loop the flap on the back of the pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back using the two Elastic Loops, fitting them over the Attachment Tabs near the top harness slots.
  3. Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base using the two Elastic loops at the rear of the Seat Pad. Fit these over the Attachment Tabs on the Seat Base near the seat back/base join.
  4. Attach each anchor hook of the Seat Pad to the side of the seat armrest. Ensure the hook's slot slides through the underside division.

Care and Maintenance

WARNING: Harness Straps are NOT washable.

Dishwasher Safe Tray Insert: The Tray Insert is dishwasher safe up to 160°F (71°C). Do not use scouring pads, as they can damage the surface.

High Chair/Tray: Use mild soap and a damp cloth. Use a soft bristle brush, sponge, or cloth for cleaning. Do not submerge the high chair or tray in water. Surface clean only.

Seat Pad and Fabrics: Refer to the care label on individual pieces for cleaning instructions.

To remove the seat pad: Remove harness straps by pushing harness attachment tabs through harness slots on the seat back, base, and pad. Remove elastic loops from attachment tabs on the seat base and backrest.

To attach the seat pad: Follow instructions in Step 19 for re-threading the safety harness.
