Product: JLab Epic Air ANC Earbuds
1. Initial Setup
Automatic Earbud Connection
a. Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.
b. Press and hold for 3+ seconds on each earbud. When one earbud flashes blue and white, the earbuds are ready to pair with a device.

2. Bluetooth Pairing
In your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC".
After connecting, you will hear two beeps, followed by a solid white light.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices
Turn off Bluetooth on the device currently connected to the earbuds. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. To connect, select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in the new device's settings.
Controls
Right Touch Sensor
- Play/Pause: Single tap
- Next Track: Long press for 1+ second
- EQ Change: Triple tap
Left Touch Sensor
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Voice Assistant (OK Google or Siri): Double tap
- Be Aware (Ambient Mode) / ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) Toggle: Long press for 1+ second
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Voice Assistant (OK Google or Siri): Double tap
- Be Aware (Ambient Mode) / ANC Toggle: Long press for 1+ second
- EQ Change: Triple tap
Answering Calls
- Answer Call: Single tap (left or right earbud)
- End Call: Double tap (left or right earbud)
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1+ second (left or right earbud)
Music / Movie Mode
Long press both touch sensors simultaneously for 3+ seconds.
Power Off (Without Charging Case)
Turn off Bluetooth on your device. The earbuds will turn off within 3 seconds.
Voice Prompts
- Power On: Bell sound
- Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair"
- Be Aware (Ambient Mode) On/Off: One/two beeps
- ANC On/Off: Bell sound
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps
- Earbud Connected to Device
- Battery Status:
- Full Battery (80-100%): "Battery Full"
- Medium Battery (20-80%): "Battery Medium"
- Low Battery (<20%): "Battery Low" (Below 10%, "Low Battery" will be announced once)
- Power Off: Bell sound
EQ Modes
To change EQ settings, triple tap one of the earbuds. Voice prompts will announce the EQ settings. The Epic Air ANC includes 4 EQ settings. Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple/Google app store for custom EQ settings (Equalizer).
EQ Options:
- JLab SIGNATURE: Sound tailored for clear vocals and crisp highs.
- BALANCED: Even sound across the spectrum.
- BASS BOOST: Boosted bass and sub-bass.
1. Automatic Power On/Off
Placing the earbuds in the charging case will turn them off and begin charging. A blue light turns on when earbuds are charging, and it turns off when charging is complete.
After removing them from the charging case, the earbuds turn on and connect automatically.

Cable Charging
Connect the Epic Air ANC to a computer or device with a USB port (5V 1A or less).

Wireless Charging
Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad.

Fit
Try all the included eartips to find the best fit and seal for optimal sound and comfort.

Find Your Earbuds
Download the 'Find with Tile' app and activate it to locate your earbuds.

App Download
Personalize features and update firmware with the JLab Sound app. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Troubleshooting: No Sound in One Earbud or Disconnected (Manual Reset)
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and remove "JLab Epic Air ANC". (See Diagram A)
- Leave the earbuds in the charging case, and tap the touch sensor on one earbud 7 times in a row. The light will flash blue 4 times. (See Diagram B)
- Repeat the process with the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times in a row. The light will flash blue 4 times. (See Diagram C)
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait until one earbud shows a solid white light and the other flashes blue/white. You can now pair the earbuds with your Bluetooth device.

Troubleshooting: Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and remove "JLab Epic Air ANC". (See Diagram A)
- Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on. (See Diagram B)
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case. Wait until one earbud shows a solid white light and the other flashes blue/white.
- To reconnect, select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device's settings.

Warning
❗ If the earbuds are damp or wet, it can cause damage to the charging case. If the charging case shows signs of water or sweat damage, the warranty will be void.
Ensure the earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage.
Quick Tips
- ? You can use either the left or right earbud separately for listening to music and making calls. Simply take one out of the case to connect.
- ? Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. To connect to a specific device, turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.
Important Notes
- ℹ️ Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- ℹ️ Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- ℹ️ Earwax buildup on the eartips may occur, potentially reducing sound quality. Gently clean eartips with a cotton swab or small brush to improve sound quality.
- ℹ️ If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stop using the earbuds.
- ℹ️ If you experience persistent discomfort while using the product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- ℹ️ We recommend treating your earbuds with care, similar to expensive sunglasses, and storing them safely when not in use.
