Important Notes
Before installation, the power supply should be isolated at the consumer unit circuit breaker. Check that the power is off.
These products must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest building regulations.
We include 300mm of additional cable and a small terminal box to assist with installation. You'll need space, such as a void above the ceiling or behind the wall, to house these parts.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Drilling Holes
Drill the 20mm hole for the wires and the two 6mm holes for the plastic anchors. Refer to the template on page 5 for precise placement.

Step 2: Mounting Plate Installation
Use the screws and anchors provided to attach the mounting plate to the ceiling or wall.

Step 3: Wiring and Cover Attachment
Using the terminal box provided, connect the live (brown) and neutral (blue) wires. Tuck the wires and the terminal box into the void. Push the brass cover over the mounting plate.

Step 4: Securing the Spotlight
When the cover is flush with the ceiling or wall, tighten the two grub screws to secure the spotlight.

Step 5: Bulb Installation and Testing
Insert a 50mm GU10 bulb (Arthur or Chester) or a 35mm bulb (Court) into the shade and test the light to make sure the wiring is correct.
