Mounting Instructions

Step 1: Identify L and R. If necessary, attach the rubber sleeves to the arms for glasses with narrow temples.

Step 2: Attach to Glasses. Slide the JBuds Frames onto the left and right temples of your eyewear.

Tip: Place the JBuds Frames as close to your ears as possible for the best audio effect.

Bluetooth Connection

Step 1: Initiate Pairing. Hold BOTH buttons down for 5 seconds. One side will begin blinking blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair.

Step 2: Connect to Device. Open your device's ⚙️ Bluetooth settings and connect to "JLab JBuds Frames". A solid white light indicates a successful connection.

Adding New / Extra Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Turn on the JBuds Frames; they will begin Bluetooth pairing after 10 seconds. Select "JLab JBuds Frames" in the new device's settings to connect.

Button Functions

Left Button:

Volume Down: Single tap ?
Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap ?️
Previous Track: Press and hold for +1 second ⏪

Right Button:

Volume Up: Single tap ?
Play/Pause: Double tap ▶️/⏸️
Next Track: Press and hold for +1 second ⏩
Answer Call: Single tap ?
End Call: Double tap ?
Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for +1 second ❌

EQ Change: Triple tap both earbuds simultaneously to cycle through EQ modes (JLab Signature / Bass Boost).

Power On/Off: Press and hold the button on both earbuds for +3 seconds. The frames will power off. ?

EQ Settings

Triple tap either the right or left earbud 3 times to switch EQ settings.

JLab Signature: JLab C3™ signature sound with enhanced vocals and bass.
Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass.

Charging

Connect the JBuds Frames to a computer or USB device with a 5V 1A output (or less). ?

Audio Notifications:

Power On: Chime sound
Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps ?
Low Battery: "Low Battery" voice prompt (below 20%) ?
Power Off: Chime sound

Quick Tips

Place the JBuds Frames as close to your ears as possible. This will greatly improve sound quality. ?

You can use either the left or right JBuds Frame independently, or both together via Dual Connect, to listen to music or receive calls. Note that you will only have access to the control functions for the side you are using if only one frame is used.

Troubleshooting: No Sound in One Side or Bluetooth Connection Issues (Manual Reset)

Step 1: Forget Device. Open your device's ⚙️ Bluetooth settings and select to "forget" or "remove" JLab JBuds Frames.

Step 2: Reset Frames. With the JBuds Frames turned OFF, press and hold BOTH buttons for 15 seconds. The frames will turn ON and then OFF again.

Step 3: Reconnect. Press and hold both buttons for 3 seconds to turn ON. The JBuds Frames will begin blinking blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair. Open your device's settings and connect again.

Warnings

Avoid extreme heat, cold, or humidity. ⚠️
Avoid dropping or crushing your headphones.
Earwax can accumulate in the ear tips and degrade sound quality. Gently remove wax with a cotton swab or other suitable tool to improve sound quality.
If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or stop use temporarily.
If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
It is recommended to treat your headphones with the same care as expensive sunglasses, and store them in a secure place when not in use.
