Assembly

Step 1: Attach L and R facing the back. If needed, slide the rubber sleeves onto the hooks for thinner frame glasses.

Step 2: Attach JBuds Frames to the corresponding left and right arms. JBuds Frames should sit as close to your ear as possible for optimal results.

Connecting Bluetooth

Step 1: Simultaneously press and hold both buttons for more than five seconds. One side will begin flashing blue/white lights ?/⚪ to indicate it's ready to connect.

Step 2: Go to your device settings ⚙️ and connect to 'JLab JBuds Frames'. A solid white light ⚪ indicates you are connected.

Adding New/Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on all previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Turn on JBuds Frames, and they will enter Bluetooth pairing within 10 seconds. Select 'JLab JBuds Frames' in your new device's settings.

Button Functions

Left Button Actions:

Volume Down: Press once.
SIRI (iOS) or 'OK GOOGLE' (Android): Double press.
Track Back: Press and hold for one second.

Right Button Actions:

Volume Up: Press once.
Play/Pause: Double press.
Track Forward: Press and hold for one second.

Call Handling:

Answer Call: Press once.
End Call: Double press.
Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for one second.

Change EQ: Triple press either earbud to cycle through JLab Classic/Bass Boost modes.

Turn On/Off: Press and hold either earbud for three seconds (buttons will turn off both earbuds simultaneously).

EQ Settings

Triple press the left or right earbud to cycle through different EQ settings.

JLab Classic Mode (1 beep ?): JLab C3™ Classic sound, enhances vocals and bass.
Bass Boost Mode (3 beeps ???): Enhances bass and sub-bass.

Charging

Connect JBuds Frames to your computer or a USB 5V 1A (or lower) output device using the charging case.

Voice Prompts

Power On: Beep ?
Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps ??
Low Battery: 'Low Battery' (Less than 20%)
Power Off: Beep ?

Quick Tips

Position JBuds Frames as close to your ears as possible. This will significantly improve sound performance.

You can use the left or right JBuds Frames independently, or use both connected simultaneously for music or calls. Note that if you only use one, you will only have control over that side's buttons.

Troubleshooting: One Side No Sound or Bluetooth Not Connecting/Reconnecting (Manual Reset)

Step 1: Go to your Bluetooth device settings ⚙️ and select 'Forget JLab JBuds Frames'.

Step 2: With JBuds Frames off, press and hold both buttons for 15 seconds. The Frames will turn on then turn off.

Step 3: Press and hold both buttons for three seconds to turn on. JBuds Frames will begin flashing blue/white lights ?/⚪ to connect. Go to device settings ⚙️ and reconnect.

Precautions

Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
Earwax may build up in the earbud tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully clean earwax from the ear tips with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stopping use temporarily.
If you frequently experience discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
We recommend treating your earbuds like a pair of stylish sunglasses and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
