First Time Setup

Auto Connect Earbuds

1. Take earbuds out of the charging case and remove the protective film.

2. Press and hold each earbud for 3 seconds or more. The blue and white flashing indicator lights on the earbuds indicate they are ready to pair with your device.

Connect Bluetooth

1. In your device settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC".

2. A double beep and solid white light indicates you are connected.

Add New / Other Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Take earbuds out of the case. Earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" on your new device to connect.

Controls

Left Touch Sensor

• Volume Down: Single tap
• Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap
• Awareness Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Hold for 1 second
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Right Touch Sensor

• Volume Up: Single tap
• Play/Pause: Double tap
• Track Forward: Hold for 1 second
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Answering Calls

• Answer Call: Single tap left or right earbud
• Hang Up Call: Double tap left or right earbud
• Reject Call: Hold left or right earbud for 1 second

Music/Movie Mode

Simultaneously press and hold both touch sensors for 3 seconds to switch between Music/Movie modes.

Turn off power without charging case: Turn off Bluetooth from your device settings. The earbuds will turn off automatically after 3 minutes.

Sound Prompts

• Power On: Chime
• Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair"
• Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device
• Awareness Mode On/Off: 1 chime / 2 chimes
• ANC On/Off: Chime
• Bluetooth Connected: 2 chimes
• Earbuds connected to device
• Battery Full: "Battery Full" (100-80%)
• Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (80-20%)
• Battery Low: "Battery Low" (When battery is below 20%, "Low Battery" will play once when it drops to 10%)
• Power Off: Chime

Equalizer Modes

Triple tap either earbud to cycle through different equalizer settings. Sound prompts will indicate the EQ setting (Epic Air ANC will cycle through 4 EQ settings).

• JLab Classic Mode (Beep): JLab C3™ signature sound, amplified vocals and bass.
• Balanced Mode (2 Beeps): Even sound, no additional enhancements.
• Bass Boost Mode (3 Beeps): Extra bass and sub-bass.
• Custom EQ: Use the JLab Sound App for custom EQ settings.

Auto On/Off

1. Placing earbuds in the charging case will turn off earbuds and begin charging. The blue light indicates the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged.

2. When removed from the charging case, the earbuds will automatically turn on and connect.

Charging

Wired Charging

Connect Epic Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or smaller) output device.

During charging, the LED will pulse white, and turn solid white when fully charged.

Wireless Charging

Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad.

Fitting

Try all included ear tip sizes to ensure the best fit and seal.

Insert into the ear canal and twist slightly to adjust for the best fit.

Download the Tile app and activate it to find your earbuds. For more information, visit intl.jlab.com/tileapp. Activating Tile will reduce earbud playback time.

Troubleshooting

One Earbud No Sound or Disconnected (Manual Reset)

1. In your device's Bluetooth settings, forget "JLab Epic Air ANC". [Diagram A: Phone Bluetooth settings showing 'JLab Epic Air ANC']
2. Keep earbuds in the charging case, and quickly tap the sensor 7 times on one earbud. The indicator light will flash blue 4 times. [Diagram C: Earbud indicator light flashing blue]
3. Repeat on the other earbud. Quickly tap the sensor 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 4 times. [Diagram C: Earbud indicator light flashing blue]
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to turn solid white, and the other to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair to your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

1. In your device's Bluetooth settings, forget "JLab Epic Air ANC". [Diagram A: Phone Bluetooth settings showing 'JLab Epic Air ANC']

3. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to turn solid white, and the other to flash blue/white.
4. In your device settings, select "JLab Epic Air ANC" to reconnect.

Quick Tips

• Left or Right Quick Tip Earbuds can be used individually for music and calls. Simply choose one and take it out of the case to connect.
• Only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on devices you do not want to connect to, then turn on Bluetooth on the device you wish to connect to.
• Before placing earbuds in the charging case, ensure they are completely dry to avoid damaging the case.

Warning

Before placing earbuds in the charging case, ensure they are completely dry. If earbuds have water or moisture, it will damage the charging case. Damage to the charging case due to water/sweat is not covered by warranty.

Precautions

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and moisture.
• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
• Earwax may build up in the earbud tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully clean earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or taking a break.
• If you experience persistent discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• We recommend treating your earbuds with the same care as your sunglasses, storing them in a safe place when not in use.
