Safety Warnings and Precautions

WARNING: Please follow all of these instructions to ensure the safety of your child. Keep these instructions for future reference.

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out; always use the safety harness and ensure children are properly positioned according to these instructions.

WARNING: Never leave children unattended.

WARNING: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.

WARNING: Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached.

CAUTION: This single stroller is designed for one child only. Use with more than one child may cause an unbalanced condition which can injure or harm your child.

Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags, or accessory items may change the balance of the stroller and cause a hazardous, unstable condition.

The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 5 pounds (2.27kg). Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition.

Be certain the stroller is completely opened and locked in place before allowing a child near the stroller.

Use of the stroller with a total weight over 50lbs (22.67 kg) will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition.

NEVER use the stroller on stairways or escalators.

NEVER use the stroller with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.

NEVER allow your stroller to be used as a toy.

To clean, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

Check your stroller regularly for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.

Discontinue use if the stroller malfunctions or becomes damaged. Contact customer service for repair or replacement parts.

Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation, follow these instructions carefully. Keep for future reference.

IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.

IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.

Remove stroller from box. The front wheels and rear wheels MUST be installed prior to use.

Front Wheels

To attach the front wheels, unfold the stroller as described:

  1. Unlock the release lever (Fig. 1a) and unfold the stroller frame by pulling upward on the stroller handle until the frame locks (Fig. 1b). Lean the stroller backward so the front wheel posts point upward.
  2. Slide the front wheel onto the front forks (Fig. 2).
  3. Slide the retainer plate onto the front wheel. Ensure the raised lip points toward the fork and insert it into the slot on the fork. Align the retainer plate's tab with the slot before tightening the wheel (Fig. 3).
  4. With the wheel in position, tighten the axel nuts using a standard wrench. You should feel significant resistance, and the wheel should be held tightly in place (Fig. 4).

Rear Wheels

Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front wheel.

Press the rear wheel posts into the rear frame hub until they click into place (Fig. 5). NOTE: Pull on the rear wheel to ensure it is securely attached.

Tires

Tires are shipped un-inflated. Inflate tires regularly to the P.S.I. specified on each tire using a bicycle style hand air pump (Fig. 6). Pump not included.

Multi-Position Handle

To adjust the handle, press the release buttons to move the handle up or down to a comfortable position (Fig. 7). NOTE: Ensure the handle clicks into place before using.

Bumper Bar

WARNING: Do not use the bumper bar to carry the seat with a child inside. The bumper bar is not a carrying handle.

Attach the bumper bar by aligning anchors with the slots on the seat. Push until it clicks into place (Fig. 8a). NOTE: The bumper bar must be securely attached before use.

To detach the bumper bar, press the release button on the bottom of the bar and pull the bar out of the anchor. Swing the bar upward to access the seat (Fig. 8b).

Child Tray

WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 1 pound in the child's tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions could result.

WARNING: Care must be taken when attaching and removing the child's tray to prevent finger entrapment.

To attach the child's tray: The tray has three positions. Align the tray to one of the positions and push down onto the bumper bar (Fig. 9a). Push until firmly in place. NOTE: Ensure the tray locks in one of the three positions before using.

To remove the child's tray: Push the tray tab outward and pull up (Fig. 9b).

Cup Holder and Pocket

WARNING: To avoid burns, never put hot liquids in the cup holder/pocket. To avoid tipping, do not place more than 1 lb (0.45kg) in the cup holder. Do not put hot liquids in this pocket, as a spill could burn the child. Maximum weight for this pocket is 1 lb.

To attach the cup holder: Slide the clip on the cupholder over the Cup Holder tabs on the Handle Bar. Push until firmly in place (Fig. 10).

Storage Basket

WARNING: The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 5 lbs (2.27kg).

Use the zipper to open and close the storage cover to access the storage basket (Fig. 11).

Attaching the Seat

WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the carriage position. Use for strolling only.

Ensure the seat fabric is properly attached to the seat support bar. If the seat fabric is unzipped, wrap it around the seat support bar (Fig. 12a) and zip it closed.

Attach the seat by aligning the seat anchors on the side of the seat with the anchors on the stroller frame and push them together until they click securely (Fig. 12b). The seat can face either direction (front or backward).

To Adjust Seat

The seat can be adjusted into upright, reclined, and carriage positions. Pull the recline button on the rear of the seat and rotate it to the desired position (Fig. 13a).

  • Upright and Reclined Position: Buckle the footrest and headrest straps on the rear of the seat. Pull excess straps to tighten the seat (Fig. 13b).
  • Carriage Position: Ensure both footrest and headrest straps are loosened and extend the seat surround fully (Fig. 13b).

To Remove Seat

To take off the seat, push both center buttons on each side of the seat and lift the seat upward (Fig. 13c). DO NOT remove with child in the seat.

Removable Canopy

To attach the removable canopy: Snap the canopy clips onto the inside of the toddler seat tubes (Fig. 14a).

To open the canopy: Push forward on the front edge while holding the rear of the canopy in place (Fig. 14b).

To fold the canopy: Pull backward on the front edge (Fig. 14b).

Brakes

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.

To engage brakes, apply downward pressure to the brake levers on the rear axle. The stroller may require forward or rearward movement to engage the brake. Check that the stroller does not move once brakes are properly applied. To release, gently lift the brake levers (Fig. 15).

Front Wheel Lock

WARNING: Always lock the front swivel wheel in the STRAIGHT position before placing or removing children from the stroller and when walking fast or jogging.

FALL HAZARD: Prevent tipping over. Before running, jogging, or walking fast, LOCK the front wheel from swiveling.

The front wheel has a swivel locking device. Engage it by pushing the button upward and disengage it by pushing downward (Fig. 16a, Fig. 16b).

Safety - Securing the Child

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave a child in the seat when straps are loose or undone.

Type 1 and 2 Harness

The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the child's shoulder (Fig. 17a). To adjust harness height, unhook the shoulder strap from the crotch buckle. Feed the strap through the harness spread slots (accessible from the rear of the seat underneath the fabric). Feed the strap through the appropriate slot and reattach to the crotch buckle.

Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over their shoulders (Fig. 17b).

To Release the Child

Type 1: Push the button on the center clasp; the two harness buckles will pop free (Fig. 18).

Type 2: Apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until it releases (Fig. 19).

Jogging with Your Stroller

WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.

STRANGULATION HAZARD! Children have strangled when straps wrapped around their necks. When not in use, hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle. Keep this tether strap out of children's reach.

When jogging with your child, use the following safety features:

  • Seat MUST be forward and upright (Fig. 20a).
  • Lock the front swivel wheel in the straight position (refer to Step 16).
  • THE TETHER STRAP: This strap helps maintain stroller control in case of a fall while running. Remove it from the stroller handle and attach it to your wrist as shown (Fig. 20b).
  • The safety strap must remain connected to the rear lower frame cross member at all times. This prevents the stroller from tipping backward if you fall. The strap includes a hook-and-loop attachment for storage on the left side of the stroller when not in use (Fig. 20c).

Folding and Unfolding

To Fold Stroller

WARNING: Be careful when folding and unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.

CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while folding.

Pull the stroller backward several inches to align the front wheels forward.

Fold the stroller by pulling both release triggers (Fig. 21a) and pushing the handle toward the floor. Ensure the front wheels lie flat. Secure the stroller in the folded position by locking the fold latch (located on the right side) over the rivet (Fig. 21b).

To Unfold Stroller

CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while unfolding.

Unlock the release lever (Fig. 22a) and unfold the stroller frame by pulling upward on the handle until the frame locks (Fig. 22b). The bar will lock when legs are fully extended.

Infant Car Seat Attachment

WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out; always use the Infant Car Seat harness.

Attach the car seat by aligning the seat anchors on the side of the car seat with the anchors on the stroller frame. Push them together until they lock securely (Fig. 23).

To Remove Infant Car Seat

To remove the infant car seat, push both center buttons on each side of the seat and lift the seat upward (Fig. 24).

Riding Positions

The stroller frame may vary from the positioning diagram. The seat can face forward or backward in any mode.

  • Forward Facing
  • Rear Facing

Care and Maintenance

Testing for Proper Wheel Installation

WARNING: ALWAYS check the double nut locking system before each use to ensure the front wheel is securely fastened to the frame.

FALL HAZARD: Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached.

Lift the front of the stroller off the ground and pull down on the wheel to ensure it is secure (Fig. 26). NOTE: The wheel must not come off.

If you experience front wheel wobble beyond normal use while walking or jogging, you may need to adjust the front wheel housing nut.

Remove the footrest to access the nut. Use a standard wrench to tighten the nut (Fig. 27). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, as this can damage the wheel housing.

Fender

If adjustment or replacement is necessary:

Align the front fender and press it onto the front frame assembly (Fig. 28a). Insert the 4 screws through the underside of the front frame assembly into the front fender's plastic tubes. Tighten screws until snug (Fig. 28b). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

Seat Pad

To clean the seat pad, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
