  3. Test for proper wheel installation: Lift the front end of the stroller and pull down on the wheel to ensure it is attached. The wheel must not detach.

Front Wheel Lock

The front wheel is equipped with a swivel locking device. Push the button on the wheel upward to engage the lock and push downward to disengage the locking device. The lock engages in two directions; Direction (1) is recommended for jogging.

Seatback Positioning

  1. To recline the seat, press the clip ends together to release and pull down.
  2. To place the seat into an upright position, press the clip ends together while holding the end of the strap. Push the clip upwards to secure into the desired position. The upright position should be used only for children at least 6 months old. Always re-adjust the safety harness, including shoulder belts, when repositioning the seat.

Child Tray

The child's tray is not a restraint device; always secure your child with the seat belt. Do not lift the stroller by the child's tray. Use care when attaching the child's tray with a child in the stroller. Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 lbs (1.36 kg) in the child tray, as this could cause serious burns or unstable conditions.

  1. To attach the child tray: Hold the tray at a 90° angle and insert into the receiving end of the stroller armrest. Rotate the tray downward to the opposite side and snap closed.
  2. To access the child seat: Press the tray release button and rotate upward on the tray.

The parent tray provides a place for your mobile phone and other items.

  2. For the mobile phone positioner: Align your mobile phone with the clip and insert it through the grips. Ensure the phone is pushed all the way down into the positioner. Note: Some mobile phones may require pulling tabs to insert. The positioner may not accommodate all phones or devices. Do not use the positioner as a secure holder if your phone is loose or too large.
  3. To remove the parent tray: Locate the parent tray tabs under the stroller frame. Press them inwards and lift the tray from the housing.

Brakes

Always check with your pediatrician for a recommended starting age/weight for your baby in an all-terrain stroller.

Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. Never leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.

  1. To engage rear brakes: Push down firmly on each brake lever to lock. Check that the stroller will not move and that both brakes are properly applied.
  2. To unlock brakes: Push up on the brake lever.

Jogging with Your Stroller

Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position; use for strolling only.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Children have strangled when straps have wrapped around their neck. When not in use, hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle. Keep this tether strap out of the reach of children.

FALL HAZARD: To prevent tip-overs before running, jogging, or walking fast, lock the front wheel from swiveling.

  1. When jogging, use the following safety features: Lock the front swivel wheel in a straight position.
  2. Use the tether strap: This strap is intended to maintain control of the stroller in case of a fall while running. Attach it to your wrist as shown.

Tire Inflation

Check tire pressure before using the stroller. Tires are shipped un-inflated. Inflate tires regularly to the P.S.I. specified on each tire.

NOTE: Only use a hand pump. DO NOT USE an air compressor to inflate the tire. Do not inflate above the maximum recommended inflation pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.

Securing the Child

Always use the safety harness to avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: A child can strangle in a loose safety harness. Never leave a child in the seat when the safety harness is loose or undone.

The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder.

  1. Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs.
  2. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap.

  2. Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the stroller frame is erected and locked in the open position. The stroller has spring-loaded latches on both sides of the frame. Test that both latches are fully engaged before placing your child in the stroller.

Infant Car Seat Installation

Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position; use for strolling only.

  1. Put the stroller seat in the full recline position. Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame. (Car seat support tabs are only used for the infant car seat.) Check that the front child tray is firmly attached to the stroller armrests.
  2. Position the infant car seat so that it faces toward the rear of the stroller. Push the car seat into the front tray until it latches into place. The rear of the car seat rests on the support tabs. Put the stroller seat in the most upright position for additional support.
  3. When the infant car seat is locked firmly into place, secure the single short clip over the infant car seat through the belt path on the infant car seat. It is very important that the short clip is always tightly fastened around the infant car seat. Always secure your child with the car seat harness when using the car seat in the stroller. If your child is already in the car seat, check that the child is secured with the harness. Improper use may result in serious injury or death.

Infant Car Seat Removal

  1. Remove the short clip. Squeeze the release handle located at the head-end of the seat and carefully lift upward on the seat.
  2. Rotate the support tabs up when not using the car seat.

Maintenance

Front Wheel Maintenance

  1. If replacing the front wheel, remove axle nuts and retainer plates before removing the wheel.
  2. Attach the replacement wheel to the front fork.
  3. Slide both retainer plates into the axle with the tabs inserting into the slots of the fork. Use the axle nuts to tighten all parts securely onto the fork. Check these parts regularly and ensure axle nuts remain tightened.
