Parts List

Check that you have all the parts for this model before assembling the stroller.

Diagrams show the following parts:

Note: Wheel styles may vary. Please refer to the manual located under the car seat for base type and instructions.

Safety Warnings

WARNING: Please follow all of these instructions to ensure the safety of your child. Keep these instructions for future reference.

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness and ensure that children are properly positioned according to these instructions.

WARNING: Never leave children unattended.

WARNING: Wheel can detach and cause tip over. Pull on the wheel to assure it is securely attached.

WARNING: To avoid injury, ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.

CAUTION: This single jogger is designed for one child only. Use with more than one child may cause an unbalance condition which can injure/harm your child.

DO NOT INFLATE above the maximum recommended inflation pressure written on the side of the tire. Over inflation may cause wheel and/or tire to blowout and could result in serious injury.

Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags, or accessory items may change the balance of the stroller and cause hazardous unstable conditions.

The maximum weight that can be carried in the basket is 5 lb. (2.26 kg); child tray and parent tray are 1 lb. (0.453 kg) each. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition.

Be certain the stroller is fully erect and latched in the open position before allowing children near the stroller.

Do not use the stroller with children weighing more than 50 pounds (22.67 kg) or over 42 inches (106.7 cm) tall, as this will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition.

NEVER use the stroller on stairways or escalators.

NEVER use the stroller with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.

It is recommended that the child occupant be at least 6 months of age prior to use of the stroller for jogging. Because children develop at different rates, discuss the use of a jogging stroller with your health care provider prior to jogging with your child.

NEVER allow your stroller to be used as a toy.

To clean, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

Check your stroller regularly for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.

Discontinue use of the stroller if it malfunctions or becomes damaged. Please contact customer service to arrange for repair or obtain replacement parts.

Infant Car Seat Compatibility and Installation

The stroller is compatible with the following Baby Trend® Car Seats: EZ Lift, EZ-Lift PLUS, EZ-Lift PRO, and SECURE-Lift. Visit babytrend.com for a compatibility chart.

ATTENTION: CS01 EZ-Lift, CS02 EZ-Lift PLUS, and CS03 EZ-Lift PRO Infant Car Seats must attach to the module of the stroller's front seat. These models require child tray and seat back adjustment to the most reclined position. Refer to step 10 for seat position adjustments.

To attach the car seat: Close the canopy as needed to accommodate the car seat (Fig. 6a).

Align the car seat module to the inner frame connectors. Carefully rest the car seat's lower rear against the angle point of the tray. Latch the module into the stroller frame. Press down firmly for the click. ALWAYS ensure that the car seat is properly connected and locked onto the stroller before each use by lifting on the car seat handle (Fig. 6b).

Safety Features

Rear Brakes

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that it will not roll away. NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as the stroller may slide down the hill.

Press down the brake levers to engage and lift up on the brake levers to release. The stroller may require forward or rearward movement to engage the brake. Check that the brakes are properly applied (Fig. 7).

Diagram illustrates: Fig. 7 shows engaging and releasing the rear brakes.

Securing the Child

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose safety harness. Never leave child in seat when safety harness is loose or undone.

The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness have multiple positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below the top of the child's shoulder (Fig. 8a).

To secure the child, place the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten all buckles to the proper fit for the child (Fig. 8b).

To adjust the harness to the next height level, unhook the strap and pull it through the loop according to the child's height when sitting (Fig. 8c).

To adjust the harness to a lower height level, thread the clip back into the slot and pull it out through the desired lower level (Fig. 8d).

RELEASE! Push button on center clasp; the harness buckles will release (Fig. 8e).

Seatback Positioning

To recline the seat, pinch the backrest adjustment buckle and pull down. To make the seat more upright, pinch and push the buckle upwards until the desired position is reached (Fig. 9).

The upright position should be used only for a child that is at least 6 months old. Always re-adjust the safety harness, including the shoulder belts, when repositioning the seatback.

Diagram illustrates: Fig. 9 shows adjusting the seatback recline/upright position.

Jogging with Your Stroller

WARNING: Never jog or run with your newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.

STRANGULATION HAZARD! Children have strangled when straps have wrapped around their neck. When not in use, hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle. Keep this stroller tether strap out of the reach of children.

Locking Front Swivel Wheel

When jogging with your child, use the following safety features:

LOCK THE FRONT SWIVEL WHEEL IN STRAIGHT POSITION: Slide the slider down to the lock position. Slide back to unlock.

Diagram illustrates: Fig. 10a shows sliding the slider to lock the front swivel wheel.

Safety Tether Strap

SAFETY TETHER STRAP: Always connect the Tether Strap to either wrist when jogging. This strap will keep the stroller from rolling away in the event that you trip while running (Fig. 8a). The Tether Strap must always remain connected to the rear lower frame cross member. This location is intended to prevent the stroller from tipping backward if you fall to the ground. The Tether Strap includes a hook and loop attachment for storage on the left side of the stroller when not in use (Fig. 10b).

Diagram illustrates: Fig. 10b shows the safety tether strap and its storage.

Folding the Stroller

Push both fold buttons located on each shoulder of the stroller (Fig. 11a) while folding the stroller frame until it fully closes (Fig. 11b). Fold the stroller to the collapsed position (sometimes may require additional assistance by hand) before securing with the fold latch.

Lock the stroller by pulling the locking latch over (Fig. 11c).

Note: You may remove the tray for a compact fold. Refer to Step 4 (Fig. 11d).

Unfolding the Stroller

If replacing the front wheel: Locate the release pin on the underside of the wheel hub (Fig. 13a). Push in the release pin and pull the wheel out (Fig. 13b).

Re-Install: Assemble the front wheels by inserting each to the pin. Press firmly to secure in place.

If replacing the rear wheel: Press the release pin and pull the wheel out (Fig. 13c).
