The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the end user's sole responsibility.

❗ CAUTION: This single jogger is designed for one child only. Use with more than one child may cause imbalance and injury.
Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags, or accessory items can change the stroller's balance, causing hazardous unstable conditions.
Maximum weight capacities:
- Basket: 5 lbs (2.26 kg)
- Child tray: 3 lbs (1.36 kg)

Excessive weight may cause hazardous instability.
Ensure the stroller is fully erect and latched before allowing children near it.
Use with children weighing over 50 lbs (22.67 kg) or taller than 42 inches (106.7 cm) will cause excessive wear, stress, and potential instability.
NEVER use the stroller on stairways or escalators.
NEVER use with roller skates, in-line skates, skateboards, or bicycles.
It is recommended that the child be at least 6 months old for jogging. Consult your healthcare provider regarding jogging with your child.
NEVER allow the stroller to be used as a toy.
Cleaning: Use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Regularly check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
Discontinue use if the stroller malfunctions or becomes damaged. Contact customer service for repair or replacement parts.
Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT! Follow instructions carefully for safe operation. Inspect product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges before assembly and each use. Adult assembly is required.

Front Wheel Assembly
⚠️ WARNING: This wheel uses a front wheel double nut locking system. Follow instructions carefully for child safety. Failure to follow may result in serious injury or death.
- Release the fold latch [click]. Unfold the stroller frame by pulling upward on the handle. Ensure the frame is locked by pressing down on the handle.
- Locate the front wheel hub underneath the front end of the frame. Firmly insert the front wheel into the hub until it clicks into position.
Testing for Proper Wheel Installation
⚠️ WARNING: FALL HAZARD: Always check the double nut locking system before each use to ensure the front wheel is securely fastened. See Figure 19c for tightening.
- Lift the front end of the stroller and pull down on the wheel to ensure it is attached. NOTE: The wheel must not detach.
Rear Wheel Assembly
- Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front frame. To attach rear wheels, align the axle pin to the receiving end of the rear axle. Push the axle pin inward until secure. Repeat for the other wheel. Check each wheel is set by pulling on it.
NEVER use the stroller if wheels are not locked. Contact customer service at 1-800-328-7363 (8:00 am - 4:30 pm PST) for assistance.
Front Wheel Lock
⚠️ WARNING: FALL HAZARD: Lock the front wheel from swiveling before running, jogging, or walking fast.
- The front wheel has a swivel locking device. Push the button upward to engage the lock and downward to disengage. Direction (1) is recommended.
Seatback Positioning
Step 5:
- To recline the seat, press clip ends together and pull down.
- To place the seat in an upright position, press clip ends together, hold the strap, and push the clip upwards to secure.
NOTE: The upright position should be used only for children at least 6 months old. Always re-adjust the safety harness, including shoulder belts, when repositioning the seat.

Child Tray
⚠️ WARNING: The child's tray is not a restraint device; always secure your child with the seat belt. DO NOT lift the stroller by the child's tray. Use care when attaching with a child present. Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 lbs (1.36 kg) in the tray, as this may cause burns or instability.
- To attach the child tray: Hold the tray at a 90° angle and insert into the receiving end of the stroller armrest. Rotate the tray downward and snap closed.
- To access the child seat: Press the tray release button and rotate the tray upward.
- To remove the child tray: Press the tray release button, rotate the tray 180°, and pull it out.

Step 7: To Insert The Parent Tray: May require pushing the canopy rod forward. Locate the tray housing on the stroller frame. Align and set the parent tray tab holes into the inner housing where the small tab locks are located. Press firmly to click into position.
Mobile Phone Positioner: Align the mobile phone to the clip and insert it through the grips, pushing it all the way down. NOTE: Some phones require pulling tabs to insert. The positioner may not accommodate all phones/devices. Do not use as a secure holder if the phone is loose or too large.
Removal: Under the stroller frame, locate the parent tray tabs. Press them inwards and lift the tray from the housing.
Canopy and Storage Basket
Canopy
Step 8: To set the canopy:
- Insert the arched rod into the stroller frame and ensure both sides click in.
- Wrap each side of the canopy fabric around the stroller frame to secure. Pull forward on the front edge while holding the rear. The front edge can fold the visor in or out for shade.
- To close the canopy: Push the front edge backward towards the handle.
Storage Basket
Step 9: Secure the Storage Basket: Always ensure the basket is attached. Fold the flap over the rear bar and snap the 3 buttons closed. Ensure the 3 straps are snapped closed on each side.
Brakes and Jogging Safety
Brakes
⚠️ WARNING: Always check with your pediatrician for recommended starting age/weight for your baby.
⚠️ WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed to prevent it from rolling away. NEVER leave unattended on a hill or incline.
Step 10: To engage rear brakes: Push down firmly on each brake to lock. Check that the stroller will not move and brakes are properly applied. To unlock: Push up on the brake.
Jogging with Your Stroller
⚠️ WARNING: Never jog or run with a newborn in the car seat position. Use for strolling only.
⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD! Children can strangle if straps wrap around their neck. Hook the tether strap onto the stroller handle when not in use. Keep the tether strap out of children's reach.
⚠️ FALL HAZARD: Lock the front wheel from swiveling before running, jogging, or walking fast to prevent tip-over.
Safety Features for Jogging:
- LOCK THE FRONT SWIVEL WHEEL IN STRAIGHT POSITION.
- THE TETHER STRAP: This strap maintains control in case of a fall. Attach it to your wrist.
Tire Inflation
Step 12: Check tire pressure before use. Tires are shipped un-inflated and should be inflated regularly to the P.S.I. specified on each tire.
NOTE: Use a hand pump only. DO NOT USE an air compressor. DO NOT INFLATE above the maximum recommended pressure.
Securing and Releasing the Child

⚠️ WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.
⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD: A child can strangle in a loose safety harness. Never leave a child in the seat with a loose or undone harness.
Step 13: The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder.
- Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders.
- Place the crotch strap between the child's legs.
- Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap.
- Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over their shoulders.
Releasing the Child
Step 14: RELEASE! Push the button on the center clasp; the two harness buckles will pop free.

Folding and Unfolding
Folding the Stroller
WARNING: Be careful when folding to prevent damage. Remove all accessories, mobile phones, diaper bags, or purses. Failure to remove items may cause damage. Baby Trend® is not liable.
WARNING: Be careful when folding to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while folding.
Step 15: Close the canopy (refer to step 8). Recline the seat.
- To fold, pull each trigger release. Push down on the stroller handle until completely folded. Secure the fold latch.
Unfolding the Stroller
WARNING: Be careful when unfolding to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near the stroller while unfolding.
Step 16: Stand the stroller on the ground with all three wheels touching. Release the fold latch (located on the right side).
- Lift the stroller handle with both hands until the frame is erected and locked in the open position. The stroller has spring-loaded latches on both sides.
- NOTE: Test that both latches are fully engaged before placing your child in the stroller.
Infant Car Seat Compatibility
THE INFANT CAR SEAT
⚠️ WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out; always use the Infant Car Seat harness.

ATTENTION: Models CS01 EZ-Lift, CS02 EZ-Lift PLUS, and CS03 EZ-Lift PRO Infant Car Seats must attach to the stroller's front seat module. These models require child tray and seat back adjustment to the most reclined position. Refer to step 5 for seat position adjustments.
Car Seat Module Connection
Step 17: From the rear side of the stroller, engage both car seat support tabs.
- Align the car seat module to the inner frame connectors. Rest the car seat's lower rear against the angle point of the tray. Latch the module into the stroller frame and press firmly for the click.
- ALWAYS ensure the car seat is properly connected and locked by lifting the car seat handle.
Removing the Car Seat
NOTE: Set handle to the carry position. Squeeze the release handle at the top-rear of the car seat and lift away from the stroller.
Step 18: Put the stroller seat in the full recline position. Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame. (These tabs are only for the infant car seat. Check that the front child tray is firmly attached. May require locating the support tab under the stroller fabric).
- Position the infant car seat facing the rear of the stroller. Push the car seat into the front tray until it latches. The rear rests on the support tabs. Put the stroller seat in the most upright position for additional support.
Securing and Removing the Car Seat
Step 19: When the infant car seat is locked firmly: Secure the single short clip over the infant car seat through the belt path. NOTE: The short clip must be tightly fastened. Always secure your child with the car seat harness when using it in the stroller. If your child is already in the seat, check their harness security. Improper use may result in serious injury or death.
- To remove the Infant Car Seat: Remove the short clip, squeeze the release handle, and carefully lift upward. Rotate the support tabs up when not using the car seat. (Note: Release may be at the foot-end for some seats).
Maintenance
Front Wheel Maintenance
Step 20: If replacing the front wheel: Remove axle nuts and retainer plates before removing the wheel. Attach the replacement wheel to the front fork.
- Slide both retainer plates into the axle with tabs inserting into fork slots. Use axle nuts to tighten all parts securely. Check these parts regularly and ensure axle nuts remain tightened.
Wheel Release
- Step 21: To release the front wheel assembly: Push the front wheel release tab inward. The wheel detaches easily.
- Step 22: To release the rear wheel assembly: Push in the rear wheel release. The wheel detaches easily.
Care and Maintenance
- DO NOT MACHINE WASH SEAT. Wipe with mild soap only. Do not soak material. NO BLEACH.
- Clean stroller frame with mild soap and water. NO BLEACH.
- Check for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching regularly. Replace or repair parts as needed.
