Introduction

The Activ Power J202 nail polisher is a device ideally suited for performing manicures and pedicures. It allows for effective preparation of nails for further treatment and significantly simplifies the removal of previous nail design residue. The well-balanced handpiece, thoughtful functions, and numerous available options make this drill ideal for professional use.

Connection and Putting into Operation

  1. Connect the handpiece plug to the handpiece connection socket on the control unit.
  2. If necessary, connect the foot switch to the foot switch socket.
  3. Select a suitable bit and insert it into the handpiece (refer to the next page for instructions on bit installation and removal).
  4. Turn the speed control knob counter-clockwise.
  5. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

Bit Replacement

Attention: Always turn off and unplug the device from the mains before replacing the bit.

  1. Turn the handpiece collar clockwise until it clicks.
  2. Pull out the bit.
  3. Insert the selected bit into the same place.
  4. Turn the collar counter-clockwise to lock the bit.
  5. You are now ready to use the respective bit.

Using the Drill

  1. Switch the main switch to position "1".
  2. For manual control, slide the "on/off/foot control" switch to "on". The power indicator will light up, and the drill will start rotating slowly.
  3. Adjust the rotation speed using the potentiometer on the right side to increase the speed. Ensure the speed is set within a reasonable range.
  4. When the switch is set to foot control, press the foot pedal switch, and the drill will start rotating at the speed set by the potentiometer.
  5. To change the direction of rotation, change the position of the direction switch on the handpiece.

Attention: Always start working at minimum speed.

Before changing the direction of rotation, ensure the minimum cutting speed is set.

If the power indicator does not light up when using the machine, check the fuse and replace it if necessary.

Permissible Speed: The permissible speed may vary slightly depending on the material or type of the bit.

Important Cautions

  • Use only recommended bits.
  • Always clean dirt before replacing the bit.
  • Ensure you do not exceed the maximum speed specified by the manufacturer or distributor for the bit you are using.

  • Large bits, even when operating at a speed lower than the maximum nominal speed, may start to vibrate. The speed must be reduced immediately to prevent damage to the drill, bit, or user.
  • Always use good quality bits.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before cleaning, always turn off and unplug the machine from the electrical outlet. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drill. Remove the bit from the handpiece and place it in its case. Store the unit in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Attention: Never use chemical solvents, etc., to clean the control unit or handpiece.

Do not pour water or other liquids directly onto the control unit or handpiece.

Safety Precautions

  1. The device is professional equipment intended for use in beauty salons. Operation should only be performed by qualified cosmetic personnel to avoid adverse effects during the procedure.
  2. The device must not be disassembled or attempted to be used for purposes other than those specified in this user manual. All servicing and repair work must be performed only by personnel authorized to perform maintenance and repair work by an authorized service center (ACTIVESHOP SP. Z O.O. company).
  3. Do not install or use the device near liquids, in damp places, or with wet hands, so that liquids cannot enter the device.
  4. Immediately unplug the power cord from the socket and contact the authorized service of ACTIVESHOP SP. Z O.O. in the following cases: (a) liquid has entered the device, (b) the device emits an unusual smell, smoke, or makes unusual noises, (c) the power cord is damaged, (d) the device has been overturned or its casing is damaged.
  5. Do not place any objects on the cables. Do not install the device in a place where someone can step on the power cable.
  6. For safety reasons, unplug the power cord from the socket every time you finish working with the device.
  7. Do not insert anything into the device openings. If a foreign object enters an opening, unplug the cord and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
  8. Do not place the device on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The device can be damaged if it falls.
  9. To guarantee the specified service life of the device, it is recommended to observe a one-minute interval before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off, and vice versa).
  10. The power source must comply with the specifications indicated on the nameplate. Otherwise, there is a risk that the device may not function correctly, be damaged, or even burn out.

ATTENTION:

  1. If the power cord is damaged or other malfunctions occur, contact an authorized service center to avoid any hazards.
  2. This device may be used by children aged 8 years and older, and by persons with limited physical and mental capabilities, as well as persons with insufficient experience and knowledge of the equipment, provided that supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the device safely to understand the associated risks.
  3. The equipment is not intended for play with children. Do not let children play with the device.
  4. Do not leave the device unattended if children or persons unfamiliar with the device's use are nearby.
  5. This electrical device is not a toy. Improper use or contact with the electrical device can cause health hazards or death, so the device must be used and stored in a place inaccessible to children.

Device Disposal

Dispose of used electrical devices, accessories, and packaging at recycling centers in accordance with environmental protection regulations. Electrical devices must not be disposed of in household waste bins. Observe the disposal regulations for this type of equipment. To protect the environment, in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and handed over to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment.

At the end of the useful life of used devices, old devices also contain fully recyclable components, so they must be handed over for recycling. They must be handed over to the appropriate collection points.

Storage and Transportation

The device must be transported at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, only in its original packaging. Store the device in a well-ventilated room where the relative humidity does not exceed 75%. Operating temperature: +10°C to +40°C. During storage and transportation, the device must not be dropped, thrown, or subjected to mechanical shock or atmospheric factors.
