Product Overview
The ACTIVESHOP Sprint 48 is a professional nail drill designed for cosmetic salons. It features high-quality construction, compact dimensions, and a modern design. The drill offers a clear and intuitive control panel, providing excellent operational capabilities for both experienced and beginner users. The milling head achieves speeds from 0 to 30,000 RPM. Operating the Drill
CAUTION: Unlocking the handle during operation will damage the machine. Changing bits while the motor is running will damage the clutch. This damage is not covered by warranty. Bits must be changed with the handle in the unlocked position, and the drill must be switched off during this time.
- To prepare the drill, plug the appropriate adapter into an electrical socket.
- Connect the handpiece to the 3-pin socket.
- To change the bit:
- A. Hold the handpiece in your hand to open the drill bit jaws. Turn the rotating ring clockwise until you hear a "click" and the indicator is aligned with the open lock symbol.
- B. Remove the test rod.
- C. Insert the desired bit.
- D. Similar to step A, to close the drill bit jaws, turn the rotating ring counter-clockwise until you hear a "click" and the indicator is aligned with the closed lock symbol.
- Turn on the drill and then use the start/pause button to gradually set the drilling speed.
- Change rotation direction: forward/reverse.
NOTE!!! Do not soak the handpieces. Do not disinfect with excessive amounts of liquid. Water or disinfectant that gets inside the handpiece can damage it. Remove dust from the handpiece before any disinfection. It is recommended to maintain the handpiece with a suitable maintenance product.
CAUTION! The handpiece must be cleaned and protected from dust. Warranty claims will not be accepted due to improper use or dust damage to the handpiece.
ATTENTION!!! The jaw opening mechanism may offer greater resistance when the bit is not in the chuck. This is normal and is due to the head's construction.

Basic Problems and Solutions
Drill Not Turning On
- Check if it is plugged into the mains - connect the drill to the power source.
- Check if the drill is switched on - turn on the drill ([Item 9] in the diagram).
- Check if the handpiece cable is damaged - replace the handpiece cable (available at Activeshop).
- Check if the power cord is damaged - contact the Activeshop service department.
Handpiece Overheating
- Check if the Twist-Lock is properly closed.
CAUTION!!! The bit must be changed when the drill is switched OFF using the switch ([Item 9] in the diagram). Reducing the speed ([Item 4] in the diagram) to minimum does not turn off the drill, but only reduces its speed to a level not visible to the naked eye. Changing the bit on a running drill at minimum speed can cause the handpiece to overheat and subsequently be damaged (for which warranty does not apply).
