Product Overview

The ACTIVESHOP Sprint 48 is a professional nail milling machine renowned for its high build quality, compact dimensions, and modern design. It features a clear, user-friendly control panel and intuitive operation, making it suitable for both experienced professionals and beginners. The milling head achieves speeds ranging from 0 to 30,000 RPM and is equipped with a TWIST-LOCK chuck for quick and easy bit changes.

Important Note: Changing the voltage to 110V will cause permanent and irreversible damage to the machine.

Operating Instructions

Caution: Unlocking the handle during operation will damage the machine. Changing bits while the motor is running will damage the clutch. Such damage is not covered by warranty. Bits must be changed with the handle in the unlocked position, and the drill must be powered off.

  1. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet.
  2. Connect the handpiece to the three-pin socket on the base unit.
  3. Changing the Bit:
    1. Hold the handpiece. Turn the rotating ring clockwise until you hear a "click" and the indicator aligns with the open padlock symbol.
    2. Remove the current bit.
    3. Insert the new bit.
    4. To lock the bit, turn the rotating ring counter-clockwise until you hear a "click" and the indicator aligns with the closed padlock symbol.
  4. Activate the milling function. Use the start/stop button to adjust the milling speed sequentially.
  5. Change the rotation direction (forward/reverse) as needed.

Maintenance Notes: Do not immerse the handpiece heads in liquids. Avoid excessive moisture during disinfection, as liquid ingress can cause damage. Clean dust from the head before disinfection. Regular maintenance with a suitable product is recommended. The head must be cleaned and protected from dust; claims for dust-related damage due to improper use will not be accepted.

Note on Twist-Lock: The handle opening mechanism may feel resistant when no bit is inserted. This is normal and due to the design.

Troubleshooting

Machine Does Not Activate

Handpiece Overheats

Important Note: Bit changes should only be performed when the drill is powered off via the switch (item 4). Reducing the speed to its minimum setting (item 4) does not turn the machine off; it only lowers the operational speed. Changing bits on an active drill, even at minimum speed, can lead to handpiece overheating and potential damage, which is not covered by the warranty.
