Introduction
- The device must be used in a dry, enclosed space.
- Do not drop the milling machine, as it can damage the bearings, affecting the motor's lifespan.
- Do not allow liquids to enter the device.
- After changing the bit, ensure the handle is properly closed.
- Do not open the handle while the machine is running.
- When work is finished and the cutting bit is cleaned, place it back in the handle.
- Always unplug the device from the socket when you have finished working.
- For professional use only.
- The main cable plug must be connected to the front of the device.
- The foot switch cable plug must be securely connected to the rear of the machine's housing.
- Connect the router to the socket only after ensuring all cables are correctly and safely installed.
Before connecting the machine, check that the voltage selector switch is set to 220V. Setting the device to 110V will cause it to burn out.

Operation Modes
Manual Operation
- Turn on the device.
- Ensure the hand/foot pedal switch is set to the "Hand" position.
- Set the desired bit speed using the selection dial.
- Press the forward/reverse switch to change the bit's rotation direction.
Foot Operation
- Turn on the device.
- Ensure the hand/foot mode switch is set to the "Foot" position.
- Use the selection dial to set the desired bit speed.
- In foot control mode, the bit operates within the set speed range.
Inserting/Removing Cutting Tool
- Turn off the router using the power button.
- Turn the chuck clockwise until you hear a characteristic "click", then pull out the bit.
- To secure the bit, turn the chuck counter-clockwise until you hear a "click".
- Keep the chuck clean before changing bits.
- Ensure the bit you intend to use is not bent, asymmetrical, or damaged. Always use standard bits.
Caution: Unlocking the workpiece during operation damages the machine. Changing bits while the motor is running damages the chuck. Such damage is not covered by warranty. Bits must be changed with the handle in the unlocked position, and the bit must be off at that time.
Safety System: Overload/Overheating Function
To protect the milling machine from overheating (due to bearing failure, large bit diameter, or overload), the temperature sensor will cut off power. The overload indicator light will turn red. The milling machine will automatically shut off after 5 seconds if overheated. Turn the device off and then on again after about 30 seconds.
Recommended Rotation Speeds by Bit Type
Bit Diameter | Maximum Speed |
5mm | 41,000 |
7mm | 30,000 |
10mm | 20,000 |
13mm | 16,000 |
16mm | 10,000 |
Attention! The head must be cleaned and protected from dust. Claims will not be accepted for damage to the head due to improper use or dust.
Troubleshooting
Milling machine does not turn on:
- Check connection: Connect the mill to the power outlet.
- Check if the mill is turned on: Use the on/off switch (item 5).
- Check if the hand/foot switch (item 3) is set to "Hand".
- Check if the main cable is damaged: Replace the main cable (available from Activeshop).
- Check if the power cord is damaged: Contact Activeshop service.
- Check if the voltage selector switch (item 12) is set to 220V. If not, and the router is connected, the router is damaged. Contact Activeshop service for paid repair.
Head has overheated:
- Check if the Twist-Lock is properly closed.
Caution: Bits must be replaced after the mill is turned off using the switch (item 5). Turning the speed control potentiometer (item 2) to minimum does not turn off the mill, only reduces speed. Changing bits at minimum speed while the mill is running can cause the bit head to overheat, resulting in damage (not covered by warranty).
Caution!!! Do not soak the head. Do not disinfect with excessive liquid. Water or disinfectant entering the head can damage it. Remove dust before possible disinfection. It is recommended to maintain the head with special care products.
