This document provides installation instructions for the IKEA BROGRUND wash-basin mixer tap.
Installation Compliance: Installation must be carried out in accordance with Industry Regulations Säker Vatteninstallation.
⚠️ Safety First: Switch off the main shut-off valve before changing the mixer tap.

Tools and Parts
The following tools and parts are typically required or included for installation:
- Tools: Wrench, sealant gun (optional).

Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Main Body
Connect the main body of the mixer tap to the mounting rod/bolt (part 121842).

Step 2: Seal and Mount
Seal the open surfaces with silicone to prevent water from penetrating the worktop upon any leaks. Silicone is not included.
The silicone sealant must be water- and mould-resistant and suitable for the installation, according to EN 15651-3, Class XS1.
Ensure the mounting hole diameter is between Ø34-37 mm (Ø13/8-1 1/2").

Step 3: Connect Water Supply
Connect the flexible hoses to the water supply pipes.
ℹ️ Important Note: The pipe connection needs to be flat and free from sharp edges.
❗ Caution: Do not tighten too hard, as this can damage hoses, pipes, and washers.

Step 4: Final Checks and Usage
Before first use: Unscrew the Aerator/Flow Guide with a coin. Allow water to run freely for a few minutes to flush the system. Then, screw the Aerator/Flow Guide back into place. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
ℹ️ Maintenance: Check at regular intervals to ensure the installation is not leaking.
