Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Preparation
The main body of the INSJÖN mixer tap is shown, along with the mounting hardware ready for installation.
Step 2: Sealing the Worktop
? Instructions: Seal the open surfaces with silicone sealant to prevent water from penetrating the worktop upon any leaks. Silicone sealant is not included.
⚠️ Silicone Sealant Requirements: The silicone sealant must be water- and mould-resistant and suitable for the installation, according to EN 15651-3, Class XS1.
Ensure the worktop hole is within the specified diameter: Ø 34 - 37 mm / Ø 1 3/8 - 1 1/2".
Step 3: Mounting the Tap
Insert the tap through the worktop hole. Secure it from underneath using the provided mounting hardware (threaded rod, brackets, and nut).
? Pipe Connection: The pipe connection needs to be flat and free from sharp edges.
⚠️ IMPORTANT! Do not tighten too hard: this can damage hoses/pipes and washers.
Diagrams show correct and incorrect methods for connecting the flexible hoses, indicating that connections should not be kinked or excessively bent (❌).
Step 4: Spout Rotation and Handle
The tap spout can rotate 360° and can be adjusted to a 120° angle.
A diagram shows how to clean the spout with a cloth.
The handle is shown connected to the tap body.
Step 5: Final Checks and Usage
? Before use: Unscrew the Aerator/Flow Guide with a coin and allow the water to run freely for a few minutes to flush out any debris. Then screw the Aerator/Flow Guide back in place up to the stop. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
? Regular Checks: Check at regular intervals to make sure that the installation is not leaking.
