Device Connection
Step 1: Connect the base station to the power supply and the router. Wait for the network light to stay on.
Step 2: Open the rubber cover behind the battery camera, and press and hold the "Power" button for 3 seconds to turn it on.
Note: The camera and base station are pre-paired. Wait for the channel 1 and 2 indicators to be continuously on, indicating successful pairing.
Interface Description
Camera
Front View: Features an IR sensor, HD lens, indicator light, microphone, and magnetic base.
Side/Bottom View: Includes a PIR sensor, bracket interface, Micro SD card slot, Type-C charging port, a Sim card slot (labeled 'No function'), and a Power/Reset button.
Base Station
Top View: Displays indicator lights for Network (NET), Reset, and Sync.
Side View: Features a Speaker, Connection indicator, Network indicator, Reset button, Pair button, Power Port, Ethernet port, and TF card slot.
The Explanation of LED Indicator
- Blue light + color light always on: Camera is being previewed (privacy light).
- Blue light on for 1s: Device turned on or woken up.
- Blue light flashes continuously: Upgrading.
- Blue light always on: Charging.
- Red light flashes continuously & quickly: Matching code.
- Red light flashes continuously & slowly: Connecting to the internet.
- Red light always on: Low battery.
- The base station requires a network cable connection and does not support WiFi.
- Shut down: Long press for 3 seconds, red light flashes quickly.
- Power on: Long press for 3 seconds, blue light turns on.
Download Eseecloud App and Login
Search for 'Eseecloud' in your mobile App store or Google Play. Scan the provided QR code to download and install.
Note: iPhone requires iOS 9.0 or above; Android requires Android 5.0 or above.
Account Registration and Login
Account Registration
On the login interface, click 'Register', enter your mobile phone number, and click 'Confirm'. Follow on-screen prompts, which may include a graphical verification step (e.g., dragging a tennis ball to a racket). Finally, enter the received verification code and your chosen password to complete registration.
Account Login
Enter your account phone number/email and password on the login interface, then click 'Confirm'.
Third-party Login
The app supports third-party login. Click a social software icon to authorize and log in via the respective platform.
Add the Base Station Kit to the App
- Open the App and tap 'Add smart device' in the upper right corner to access the scan code interface.
- Scan the base station's QR code.
- On the search device interface, tap 'Add'.
- Set a device name and tap 'confirm'.
- Tap 'Complete'.
Function and Application
Tap the [menu icon] to access four main options: Cloud service, News, Share, and Playback.
Function Details
- Alarm Push: Enable motion detection notifications.
- Settings: Navigate directly to the Base Station setup interface.
- Edit: Change the device name and view/modify your device password.
- Delete: Remove the device from your cellphone.
Base Station Setup Interface
The interface displays device status (e.g., Electricity, Signal, ID, Firmware). Key settings include:
- Base station synchronization alarm: The base station emits an alarm sound when the camera detects motion.
- Storage setting: View SD card status and capacity. If not recording, check SD card status or capacity. Format the card to delete records or download videos from this interface.
Time Setting
The camera's time may differ from the mobile phone's. Tap 'Time synchronization' to sync with your phone. If incorrect, manually select the correct time zone.
Setup Password and Signal Path
- Setup password: Change your device password.
- Set signal path: If the device communication signal is poor, try selecting an alternative signal channel.
Cloud Service
Purchase cloud storage services for your devices. Each device requires a separate purchase.
To purchase: Select the desired device and tap 'Purchase'.
You can choose monthly renewal or select other packages based on your needs. Cloud storage offers real-time monitoring, encrypted information upload, and additional storage space.
News
View alarm messages. You can filter by date, time range, and motion type (e.g., all types, motion detection, humanoid detection). Alarm messages are automatically overwritten after three days.
Share
Share device access with family members. You can grant permissions for video preview, video playback, alarm push, and setup. Set QR code validity (always effective or custom time).
Tap 'Finish' to generate a QR code for sharing.
Each device can be shared with up to 10 users.
Playback
Watch recorded camera footage. Requires an SD card or purchased cloud service. Cloud service supports fast forward; SD card does not.
Real Time Video Recording Function
The live view interface offers several functions:
- Picture quality switching: Manually switch between SD and HD.
- Camera display: View up to four cameras simultaneously or select a single camera view.
- Sound collection: Turn audio recording on or off.
- Screenshot: Capture the current screen.
- Manual recording: Start or stop recording manually.
- Viewing mode: Toggle between different display modes.
- Storage view: Access cloud storage and local storage recordings.
- Alarm information: View recorded alarm events.
- Microphone: Enable two-way audio communication by pressing to talk.
- Cruise presets: This feature is not supported by this camera.

Additional Features
Detect Alarm
When the camera detects motion, it sends an immediate alarm message.
Alarm
If an intrusion is detected, press the alarm button to activate a 14-second alarm sound to deter intruders.
Digital Zoom Function
Digital zoom is available, but image clarity may decrease with magnification.
Camera Setup Function
Access various settings for your camera:
- Smart detection alarm: Enable to receive alarm notifications.
- Motion detection sensitivity: Adjust sensitivity to reduce false alarms. Options include Low, Medium, and High.
Smart Detection Period and Recording Setting
Smart Detection Period
Choose from four detection period options: All Day, Day model (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.), Night model (8 p.m. to 8 a.m.), or customize specific detection times.
Recording Setting
Select your preferred video mode:
- Optimal Battery Life: Records short clips when motion is detected, with adjustable clip length.
- Optimal Surveillance: Records only when motion detection is triggered.
- Uninterrupted recording: Records continuously 24/7. This mode requires the camera to be plugged in and consumes more storage space, reducing the number of recording days.
Picture Settings
The camera supports infrared mode, providing black and white images in low light conditions. Night vision modes include:
- Auto night vision: Infrared night vision turns on automatically in dim light.
- Night vision off: Disables night vision.
- Night vision always on: Infrared night vision is always active, resulting in black and white images.
Storage Settings
View cloud storage usage time and SD card status/capacity. If the SD card is inserted but not recording, check its status. Videos can be downloaded from this interface.
Device Share
Share device permissions with family members. Each device can be shared with up to 10 users.

Q1: One of the cameras doesn't show an image, what should I do?
A: 1. Try re-pairing the camera with the base station after resetting it. Refresh the base station on the app after successful pairing. 2. Avoid installing the camera too far from the base station in complex environments.
Q2: Device offline?
A: Check the router's network connection and the connection between the base station and the router. If the router or WiFi password changes, reset and reconfigure the base station's network. Ensure the base station has power.
Q3: How to display camera image on EseeCloud?
A: After connecting the base station to power and the network cable, scan the base station's QR code in the app to view the camera image.
Q4: Can't receive alarm notification?
A: 1. Ensure the phone app has notification permissions. Check personal center settings in the app and camera settings for alarm message push switches. 2. Enable motion detection and set the detection time.
Q: How to use SD card to record video?
A: Insert the SD card before powering on. Check the SD card status in the app; if abnormal, try formatting it. (A 32G memory card is pre-installed in the base station.)
