Appearance Description
The Hiseeu Battery Security Camera features the following components:
- 1. Solar Panel: For charging the device.
- 2. Wall Mount: For mounting the camera.

- 4. Spot Light & Infrared Light: For illumination in low-light conditions.
- 5. PIR Sensor: Detects motion.
- 6. Indicator Light: Shows the camera's status.

- SD Card Slot: For local storage.
- Power Supply: Can be powered by the solar panel or a DC5V, 1A power adapter.

Safety Guidelines
- Do not place any liquid containers on the product.
- Charge the camera for 12 hours before first use.
- Use the product in a ventilated environment and ensure vents are not blocked.
- Use the included power supply to prevent product damage.
- Operate the product within its standard working temperature and humidity range.
Installation
- Ensure all parts are present and the equipment is in good condition. Contact support if any accessories are missing.
- During installation, ensure the camera is within good WiFi signal range of the router.
- Verify that the walls are strong enough to support four times the weight of the camera and bracket.
- Install the camera as close to the router as possible.
- Install the solar panel in a location with ample sunlight.
- The camera supports 2.4G/5G WiFi connection.
Correct Solar Panel Installation
Wrong Way: Install the solar panel in places where sunlight is blocked.
Correct Way: Install the solar panel in places with direct sunlight, ensuring the correct angle for maximum sunlight exposure.
Precautions Before Activating the Camera
- Insert an SD card or purchase cloud storage for recording and playback. Without storage, only notification pictures for motion/human detection are available.
- When inserting the SD card, ensure the camera is not charging to prevent damage to the SD card.
- Ensure your home WiFi is 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.
- Reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 7-30 seconds before connecting.
- To ensure accurate motion detection, disable the "only humanoid detection" setting if you want to detect all motion. If the camera fails to detect motion, consider enabling "customized detection area".
- If the battery runs out for more than two hours, charge the camera for at least 5 hours before turning it on.
- The battery camera is suitable for locations with less than 100 triggers per day. A full charge can last up to three months with 100 triggers per day.

Add Device
Software Download
Download the free EseeCloud app from the App Store or Google Play. Note that app updates may alter the interface compared to the manual; contact Hiseeu for the latest version if needed.
Compatibility:
- iOS: Requires iOS 9.0 or above.
- Android: Requires Android 5.0 or above.
Register Account and Log In
- Go to the login interface and click "phone number".
- Choose your region code and input your phone number.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, which may involve dragging elements (e.g., a tennis ball to a racket) for verification.
- You will receive a verification code via SMS. Input this code to register successfully.
Account Registration: Register with your phone number or email and click "Confirm".
Quick Login: After the first login, the app can recognize your phone number for subsequent quick logins.
Other Login Methods: You can also log in using WeChat, Google, or Line accounts.
Add Camera to Mobile App
Method 1: By Bluetooth Connection
- Fully charge the camera for 12 hours before first use.
- Turn on the camera.
- Reset the camera by pressing the reset button for 7-30 seconds.
- On your mobile app, click "Add camera".
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Find the new device and click "Add".
- Select your home WiFi network (supports 2.4Ghz/5Ghz).
- Wait for successful configuration, then name your camera.
- Set up motion detection alerts if desired.
Method 2: Scan to Add
- Fully charge the camera for 12 hours and turn it on.
- On your mobile app, click "Add camera".
- Choose the "Scan to add" option.
- Enable Bluetooth.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the camera.
- Check the box confirming you hear the device prompt sound and click "Next".
- Choose your home WiFi network (supports 2.4Ghz/5Ghz).
- Wait for successful configuration, then name your camera.
- Set up motion detection alerts if desired.
Note: If you cannot or do not wish to use Bluetooth connection, you can choose "cancel" when the Bluetooth connection prompt appears. After connecting to your WiFi, a code will appear on your phone. Use your camera to scan this code to finish configuring the device.
To View on EseeCloud Software on PC
To view remotely on your PC, you need to register an EseeCloud account on your mobile phone and add the device first.

PC Software Usage:
- Input your EseeCloud account and password (the same as your mobile app) and click "Login".
- After logging in, the device will automatically synchronize to your computer.
Camera Function
1. EseeCloud Main Interface
Click the [menu icon] to access four options:
- Alarm Push: Enable this option to receive alarm messages.
- Settings: Navigate directly to the setup interface.
- Edit: Rename your device.
- Delete Device: Remove the device from the app.
Cloud Service
You can purchase cloud services separately for each device. Two storage modes are available:
- Mobile Video: Records only when the camera detects suspicious objects.
- 24-hour Video: Records continuously, 24/7.
Alarm Message
Click the [alarm icon] to view alarm messages. You can filter by date, time range, and motion type (e.g., All Types, Screen Change, Someone Active). Alarm messages are automatically overwritten after three days.
Share Device
Click the [share icon] to share the device with friends or family:
- Click the "share" icon, select share permissions and QR code validity.
- Click "finish" to generate a QR code for sharing.
Camera Record
Click the [record icon] to watch camera recordings. SD card or cloud service is required. Cloud service supports fast-forwarding, while SD card does not.
2. Real Time Video Recording Function
- SD & HD Switch: Switch between SD and HD modes for clearer images. EseeCloud will maintain HD mode.
- Sound: Enable sound to hear audio from the camera. Ensure your phone's volume is turned up.
- Screenshot & Recording: Take screenshots or record important events and save them to your mobile phone. Access recordings via the "Photo album".
Two Way Audio
Click the blue microphone icon [microphone icon] to speak. Click the red button [red button icon] to finish talking. This allows communication with family or visitors.

3. Settings Feature
Motion Detection
When someone enters the monitoring range, the camera will detect and send an alarm message to your phone.
Night Vision Model
The camera offers two night vision modes:
- Full Color Night Vision: Floodlights activate automatically in low light, displaying a color image.
- Infrared Night Vision: The camera switches to black and white images at night.
Siren
If an intruder is detected, clicking the alarm button [alarm icon] will trigger a 14-second alarm to deter them.
Motion Detection Alert
Sensitivity: Adjust motion detection sensitivity to low if you receive too many false alarms.
Area Settings: The camera uses a PIR sensor to detect motion from heat sources (humans, animals, vehicles). The red area indicates the PIR sensing range. Adjust the camera's angle to cover desired areas.
Record Settings
Record Mode:
- Optimal Battery Life: Records video for a set duration (max 30 seconds) upon motion detection.
- Optimal Surveillance: Records until the motion stops.
- Uninterrupted Record: Continuous recording. Switches to Optimal Battery Life when battery is below 50%. Recommended to use with power adapter or solar panel.
- Record only when human appears: Reduces recording and alerts from non-human motion (e.g., trees, light changes).
- Record sound: Enable to record audio. Without this, only video will be saved, and playback will be silent.
Screen and Sound Settings
Night Vision Mode: Adjust photosensitivity if the camera is not sensitive enough when switching to night vision.
Device Call Volume: Adjust the volume for the two-way audio function.
Storage Settings
View cloud storage usage, SD card status, and storage capacity in the storage settings interface. If the SD card is inserted but not recording, check its status and capacity. Format the SD card if it's full. Videos can also be downloaded from this interface.
Advanced Setting
Status Indicator: The yellow indicator light on the lens flashes while the camera is working; it does not stay on continuously.
Device Voice Prompt: Select English or Chinese for camera reset voice prompts.
Time Settings
After connecting the camera, the displayed time may differ from your mobile phone's time. Click "Time synchronization" to sync with your phone's time. If the time is still incorrect, you can manually select your time zone. The app also supports setting daylight saving time for different countries.
Work With Alexa
To use Alexa functionality, enable the Alexa option in the EseeCloud app first.
- After enabling Alexa in EseeCloud, open your Alexa app and log in with your Amazon buyer account credentials.
- Navigate to "Skills & Games", search for "EseeCloud", and select it.
- Click "ENABLE TO USE", input your EseeCloud account and password, then select "DISCOVER DEVICES".
- Wait approximately 45 seconds for the device to be found. You can then view the camera on Echo Show.

Important Notes:
- You cannot link the EseeCloud APP to Alexa if you log in through third-party software. Register your EseeCloud account using a phone number or email address.
- Ensure your device has a name; otherwise, Alexa cannot find it.
FAQ
Q1. The solar camera stopped working?
- Take down the camera to charge it. The blue light will flash during charging.
- After charging, delete the device from the app, press the reset button for 6 seconds, and add the device again.

Q2. The camera consumes too much power?
- Select "Optimal Battery Life" mode and adjust the recording time.
- Lower the motion detection sensitivity and customize the detection area to reduce frequent triggers.
Q3. I didn't receive the motion detection alarm from my smartphone?
- In the App, click the [alarm icon] in the upper right corner and enable "Alarm push".
- If you still don't receive alerts, go to "Me" -> "System authority settings" and ensure all permissions are enabled.
Q4. There are no recordings when I check playback?
SD Card Storage:
- Go to "Setting interface" -> "Storage settings" -> "Local storage" and check the SD card status. If no SD card is detected, reinsert it.
- If the SD card is normal, check if it's full. Format the SD card if necessary.
Cloud Storage:
Go to "Setting interface" -> "Storage management" -> "Cloud storage" to check your cloud storage order. Cloud storage is a paid service. If issues persist, contact Hiseeu Technical Support.
Q5. Can I add this camera to other Hiseeu security camera systems?
Yes, this camera is compatible with other Hiseeu wireless security camera systems.
Q6. How can I set it to 24/7 recording?
Click the [settings icon], then "Recording setting", and select "Uninterrupted recording" under "Record mode". Note: When the battery level is below 80%, it automatically switches to "Optimal Surveillance" mode. 24/7 recording works reliably with a plug-in power source.
