Device Installation and Configuration

This manual is suitable for various Hiseeu camera models. Appearance may vary slightly between batches.

Software Installation

1. APP Download and Installation

Search for "ICSee" on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the provided QR code to download the app. Ensure your iOS device is running version 8.0 or above, and Android devices are running version V2.0.2 or above.

2. Register Account

  1. Navigate to the login interface and click "Sign Up".
  2. Register using your phone number or email address. Click "Confirm". A verification code will be sent to your email or phone. For phone registration, prefix your number with '+1'.
  3. Enter the verification code and set your password, then click "Confirm" to complete the registration.

Add Process

A. Wi-Fi Smart Connection (5GHz Wi-Fi not supported)

Power on the device and reset it. Wait approximately 30 seconds for the voice prompt. Ensure the camera is in network distribution mode.

  1. In the ICSee app, tap "+" and then "WIFI camera".
  2. Click "Next" on the camera power-on interface, then "Next" again to confirm the camera is in network distribution mode.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, then click "Confirm".
  4. On your mobile phone, click "Next". A QR code will be displayed.
  5. Scan the QR code with the Hiseeu camera. Proceed to the next step after hearing the prompt tone or observing the light status.
  6. Set a password for the device.

B. AP Mode Connection (all kinds of cameras can use)

Power on the device and reset the camera. Wait about 30 seconds for the voice prompt. Click the reset button more than 3 times to hear the "entry AP mode" sound.

  1. In the ICSee app, tap "+" followed by "Other distribution networks and adding methods".
  2. Select "AP Distribution Network".
  3. Add the camera in AP mode by clicking "Next step".
  4. On your phone's Wi-Fi settings, select the device's hotspot (e.g., "robot_xxx" or "camera_xxx") and enter the password: 1234567890.
  5. In your router settings, input your Wi-Fi password and click "Confirm".
  6. Wait for the connection to establish successfully.
  7. Set a password for the device.

C. Add the Camera on Same Router (with wired port)

Use a LAN cable to connect the camera to your router. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera.

  1. In the ICSee app, tap "+" followed by "Other distribution networks and adding methods".
  2. Select "Nearby Cameras".
  3. Locate and tap the device named "robot_xxx".
  4. Once connected, click "Settings" then "Network Settings".
  5. Select "Routing mode", enter your Wi-Fi password, and click "Save".
  6. Wait for the connection to complete successfully, then unplug the LAN cable.

Share to Second Phone

  1. On your primary phone, tap "Share" to generate a QR code.
  2. On the second phone, open the ICSee app, tap "+", then select "From sharing".
  3. Scan the QR code with the second phone; the camera will be automatically added.

View Alarm, Preview and Playback

  1. Tap "Message" to view alarm information for the camera.
  2. Click the play icon on the device list to enter the preview interface for real-time video and two-way audio.
  3. Tap the playback or cloud icon to view recorded videos stored locally or in the cloud (cloud service availability may vary by camera model).

Motion Detection Alarm

When motion is detected, the app will send an alarm notification. Configure this by going to "Settings" > "Smart Alarm". Enable "Smart Alarm", "Alarm Push", and "Alarm Action" (to capture video and snapshots). To enable alarm sound, activate "Alarm Action" and "Device Beep". You can set specific times for motion detection by clicking "Alarm Time". Ensure the "Record Switch" is enabled for recording settings.

If you receive too many false alarms, enable "Human Shape Detection" (feature availability depends on the camera model) to focus detection on people.

Remote Access on PC Client

Contact the vendor for the PC Client download link and video instructions at: https://download.xm030.cn/d/MDAwMDA2NDE=

  1. Download and install the PC Client "VMS".
  2. Use the default username and password, then click "SIGN IN".
  3. Access the "Device Manager" to add cameras.
  4. For manual addition, enter the Cloud ID. Ensure "Device Name" is set, "Login Type" is "Cloud ID", enter the "CloudID" (e.g., fcbac4cxxxxxxx), "User Name" (e.g., admin), and "Password".
  5. Once connected successfully, navigate to "Home" > "Live View".

In Live View, select a display location and double-click the device (by serial number) to view the stream.

FAQ

Q1. For PTZ camera, how to use zoom function?

This is a digital zoom camera. Use the slider bar below the video to zoom in or out by moving the circle left or right.

Q2. How to open color night vision?

In the ICSee app, go to the playback screen and click "Lighting". Choose from three modes:

Q3. How to flip picture?

In the ICSee app, go to "Settings" > "Basic Settings" and select "Flip Left-Right" or "Flip Upside-Down".

Q4. How to find camera's IP address?

  1. Ensure the camera is connected to the same router as your computer, preferably via a LAN cable.
  2. Install the "Device manage software" from: http://www.hiseeu.com/images/article/20190215trecge.zip
  3. In the software, click "Search", choose "IP address", then "Change camera's IP address". Select "Same to PC", click "Modify", and confirm "Save config to device successful". Search again.
  4. If your computer is on the same network gateway, you can directly access the camera's IP address using an IE browser (default username: admin, password: as set).

Q5. IF forget password, how to find it?

  1. Press the reset button on the camera for over 10 seconds until a voice prompt is heard.
  2. Reconnect the camera using the app.

Q6. IF camera show offline, how to solve?

  1. Verify the power supply is functioning correctly.
  2. Move the camera closer to your router if the signal is weak.
  3. If the issue persists, connect the camera directly to the router using an Ethernet cable and check if the LAN port light is blinking.

Q7. About recording / SD card

  1. The camera supports FAT32 format TF cards (Class6, Class10), with a maximum capacity of 128GB. When the card is full, it automatically deletes the earliest videos for continuous loop recording.
  2. If the camera does not recognize the SD card, format the card, power off the camera, insert the SD card, power on the camera, and reset it.
  3. An NVR can also be used for managing video recordings from multiple cameras.

Q8. About Cloud service

  1. Cloud service functionality varies by camera model. Refer to the product page on the store for details.
  2. A 7-day free trial is typically available.
  3. The service is optional; do not enable it if not needed.
  4. Cloud service incurs a fee.
