Add Device

1. Add to smartphone

1.1 Download Free App EseeCloud

Search for the free app "EseeCloud" on the App Store or Google Play. Note: The app may be updated; if menus differ from the manual, contact Hiseeu for the latest version.

System Requirements:

1.2 Register Account

  1. Go to the login interface and click "Register" [Register].
  2. Register using your phone number or email address, then click "Confirm" [Confirm].
  3. Complete the security verification by pressing and holding a "tennis ball" icon, dragging it to a red dot, and then to a "tennis racket" icon.
  4. Receive a verification code, input it, set a password, and click "Confirm" [Confirm] to complete registration.

1.3 Add camera to smartphone

(1) Scan QR Code to Connect Camera

A. After resetting the camera (it will beep), open the EseeCloud app, click "+ Add camera" [+ Add camera], and scan the QR code on the camera.

B. Select your home WiFi network (the camera supports 2.4Ghz WiFi only, not 5Ghz), then click "next" [next].

Note: Avoid special characters in WiFi names and passwords. WiFi passwords should not exceed 12 characters.

C. Aim the QR code displayed on your mobile phone at the camera lens from a distance of 15-25cm. When you hear a prompt, click the blue button below, wait for the device to connect successfully, and then edit the device name.

Add Camera to Hiseeu Wireless Security Camera System

After successfully connecting the camera to your mobile phone, you can add it to an NVR (Network Video Recorder).

A. Search for the NVR connected to WiFi, right-click the mouse, navigate to "Video manage" [Video manage], "Search" [Search], and then "Add one" [Add one].

B. Alternatively, right-click the mouse, select "wireless add" [wireless add], wait for the camera match code, and after successful matching, go to "video manager" [video manager] to check the connection.

Please note: The NVR and PTZ camera must be connected to the same WiFi network.

Note: Digital zoom cameras cannot zoom in or out on the PC client.

Click the [menu icon] icon to see four options: Alarm push, Settings [Settings], Edit, Delete.

2. Functions Introduction

SD & HD Switch

The default picture mode is SD. If the camera image is not clear, check if you have switched to HD mode.

Sound

Please enable the sound button [sound button] to hear audio from the camera recording.

Screenshot & Recording

After successful recording, click "More" [More] and select "Photo album" [Photo album] to view the video.

Zoom and Focus

This function is for optical zoom cameras. For digital zoom cameras (WHD303, WHD902A), manually zoom in and out by horizontal viewing.

Zoom in and out: This function is only for optical zoom cameras.

Focus: When zooming, if the camera image is out of focus, click this option to focus manually. If the image is normal, do not click it, as it may affect image definition.

Frequently Viewed Location

You can set and save frequently viewed positions. Use the transfer button [transfer] instead of manually moving the camera lens.

A. Adjust the camera lens to a desired position, then click "add Preset position" [add Preset position].

B. Name the preset position, click "confirm" [Confirm], then click the image in the box to return the camera to the saved position.

Preset position of Optical Zoom camera

Some functions for optical zoom cameras require command codes. For example, WHD602Z and WHD103Z. Refer to the command table for details. For instance, clicking "Preset position" on the app, selecting "shortcut mode", and inputting "96" will activate auto-tracking.

Function descriptionAutomatically rotate to each preset position set in sequence and stay for a period of time, and stop after cruising 3000 cycles.

FAQ

Q1: There is no recordings when I click playback?

A: Check SD card storage in Settings [Settings] -> Storage settings [Storage settings] -> Local storage [Local storage]. Ensure an SD card is present. If not, remove and reinsert it (power off the camera first). If the SD card is normal, check if it's full and format it. If issues persist, contact Hiseeu Technical Support team (Jason@hiseeu.com).

Q2: What can I do if the camera is offline?

A:

  1. Confirm the distance to your router is within 15-25FT.
  2. Ensure the camera antenna is vertical and upward, preferably aligned with the router.
  3. If problems persist, contact Hiseeu Technical Support team (Jason@hiseeu.com).

Q3: I didn't receive the motion detection alarm from my smartphone.

A:

  1. In the app, go to Settings [Settings] -> Push message settings [Push message settings] -> APP push alert message and enable it.
  2. Go to "Me" -> Settings [Settings] -> Enable "Push notification" [Push notification]. You will receive notifications when movement is detected.
  3. If still not receiving notifications, go to "Me" -> System authority settings [System authority settings] and check if all permissions are enabled.

Q4: There are too many motion detection notifications.

A:

  1. Go to Settings [Settings] -> Smart detection alarm [Smart detection alarm] and adjust "Motion detection sensitivity" [Motion detection sensitivity] to medium or low.
  2. You can also adjust the detection area: Smart detection alarm [Smart detection alarm] -> Screen detection area setting [Screen detection area setting] -> select the detection area -> confirm [Confirm].

Q5: There is no sound from the camera when I view it on the App.

A:

  1. On the record interface, check if the sound button [sound button] is turned on.
  2. If it is on, go to Settings [Settings] -> Recording setting [Recording setting] and enable the "record sound switch" [record sound switch] button.
