Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
Most VGR trimmers come with a USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the device and a standard 5V/1A USB power adapter, power bank, or computer port. An LED display or indicator light typically signals when charging is active and when the battery is full.
Water resistance varies by model. Some VGR models (like the V-696) are IPX7 rated and washable, while others must not be immersed in water. Always check your specific user manual before rinsing the unit under a tap. Generally, the blades can be removed for cleaning, but the body should be kept dry for non-waterproof models.
To ensure optimal performance, clean the blades with the provided brush after every use to remove hair clippings. Apply 2-3 drops of lubricating oil to the blades regularly, and let the machine run for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
Many VGR professional clippers support both corded and cordless use, allowing you to operate the device while plugged in. However, refer to your specific model's instructions to confirm if pass-through charging is supported.
The LED display usually shows the remaining battery percentage. If a 'cleaning' symbol (often a faucet icon) or an oil symbol appears, it indicates that the device needs cleaning or lubrication. A red plug symbol typically indicates low battery or that the device is charging.
