North Bayou support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • Why does my North Bayou monitor arm move up or down automatically?

This happens if the torque is not properly adjusted to match your monitor's weight. If the arm moves up on its own, reduce the torque towards the '-' sign. If it drifts down, increase the torque towards the '+' sign.

  • The gas spring arm is too rigid and I cannot press it down. What should I do?

You must first complete the installation and securely attach the monitor to the VESA plate. Once the monitor's weight is applied, you will be able to press down on the screen to engage the gas spring arm.

  • How do I access the torque adjustment hole?

Finish the mount installation and attach the monitor. Press the monitor arm downwards to compress the gas spring, which will then expose the torque adjustment hole on the joint.

  • Can I use a North Bayou mount if my monitor does not have VESA holes?

Yes, but you will need to purchase a compatible non-VESA adapter bracket (such as the FP-1 or FP-2), which clamps onto the edges of the screen so it can be securely attached to the mount.
