Arm Adjustments
E. Torque Adjustment
This adjustment controls the tension of the gas spring arm, affecting how easily the monitor can be moved up or down and how well it stays in position.
Instructions:
- Ensure the display has been put onto the mount.
- Read your display packaging or manual to find out the display's net weight.
- Ensure the display's net weight is between 4.4-14.3lbs (2.0-6.5kg).
- If the display lifts up automatically after installation: One person should press down on the screen while another uses the 5mm Allen key (G) to turn the set screw on the underside of the upper arm joint. Turn the screw in the direction indicated by '-' (counter-clockwise) to reduce torque until the display can be hovered at any position.
- If the display sinks to the lowest position after installation: Repeat the procedure from step 4, but turn the set screw in the direction indicated by '+' (clockwise) to increase torque until the display can be hovered at any position.
