5. Setup and Installation

Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary tools: a drill, stud finder, level, screwdriver, and pencil. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

Step 5.1: Determine Mounting Location

• Use a stud finder to locate the center of a wooden stud in your desired mounting location. Mark the center of the stud.
• Ensure the chosen location is at an appropriate viewing height and free from electrical wires or plumbing.

Step 5.2: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

• Hold the wall plate against the wall at the marked location. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
• Mark the pilot hole locations through the wall plate onto the wall.
• Drill pilot holes into the wall. For wood studs, drill appropriate size holes. For concrete/brick, use a masonry drill bit and insert wall anchors.
• Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly, but do not overtighten.

Step 5.3: Attach TV Brackets to TV

• Lay your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
• Select the correct size screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
• Attach the two TV bracket arms to the back of your TV. Ensure they are centered and securely fastened. The hooks on the bracket arms should face upwards.

Step 5.4: Hang TV on Wall Plate

• With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
• Hook the TV bracket arms onto the wall plate. Ensure both hooks are securely seated on the wall plate.
• Engage the safety locking screws (if applicable) on the bottom of the TV bracket arms to prevent accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating Instructions

The NB-P5 mount offers full motion capabilities to optimize your viewing experience.

• Tilt Adjustment: Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs or bolts on the TV bracket arms, adjust the TV to your desired vertical angle (+3° to -5°), and then securely tighten the knobs/bolts.
• Swivel Adjustment: Gently push or pull the TV to swivel it horizontally up to 180 degrees. The friction joints are designed to hold the position.
• Extension/Retraction: Extend or retract the TV from the wall by gently pulling or pushing the TV. The dual arms allow for smooth movement.
• Cable Management: Use the integrated cable management clips on the arms to route and secure your TV cables for a neat and organized appearance.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.

• Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
