5.2 Monitor Positioning

  • Height: Gently push or pull the monitor up or down to the desired height.
  • Tilt: Tilt the monitor screen up or down to reduce glare and optimize viewing angle.
  • Swivel: Swivel the monitor left or right to share your screen or adjust your viewing position.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Fastener Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
  • Gas Spring: The gas spring is maintenance-free. Do not attempt to disassemble it.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Monitor sags or does not hold position. Gas spring tension is too low for monitor weight. Increase gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise with the provided Allen key.
Monitor is difficult to move up or down. Gas spring tension is too high for monitor weight. Decrease gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise with the provided Allen key.
Mount feels unstable or wobbles. Desk clamp is not securely tightened or desk surface is unstable. Ensure the desk clamp is fully tightened. Verify the desk surface is sturdy and level. Check all arm connections.
Monitor does not attach to VESA plate. Incorrect VESA screw size or monitor not VESA compatible. Use the correct VESA screws for your monitor. Confirm your monitor has 75x75mm or 100x100mm VESA mounting holes.
