Elite Screens support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I clean my Elite Screens projection surface?
Use a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap diluted in water. Gently wipe the screen from left to right. Do not use harsh chemicals, alcohol, or solvents, and avoid wiping in a circular motion.
-
How do I adjust the drop limit on my motorized screen?
For Saker and similar series, use a 5/32 allen wrench on the limit switches located near the power cord. Generally, turning the switch clockwise reduces the drop, while counter-clockwise increases it. Always check your specific manual to avoid damaging the motor.
-
What are the horizontal lines on my new pull-down screen?
These are known as memory lines, caused by the material being rolled up for storage. Leave the screen in the down position in a warm room (above 75°F) for a few days, and the material should stretch out and cure itself.
-
Can I use a short-throw projector with a standard screen?
It is not recommended. Short-throw projectors require a perfectly flat surface, such as a motorized tab-tensioned or fixed-frame screen. Standard non-tensioned screens may show waves that cause image distortion with short-throw lenses.
