Safety Information

Always handle the projector screen with care. The screen material is MaxWhite 2, a multi-layer weave with 1.1 gain, offering a 180-degree wide viewing angle. It is 4K Ultra HD and Active 3D Projection Ready, with a black-backed surface to eliminate light penetration for superior color reproduction. This screen is compatible with Standard Throw Projectors. It is NOT compatible with Short-Throw or Ultra Short-Throw Projectors.

The screen material is GREEN GUARD and GREENGUARD GOLD Certified for Safe/Clean Indoor Use, and ISF Certified for image fidelity in a dark room environment.

Setup and Installation

Pre-Installation

Carefully unpack the screen. Always handle the screen in a level position on a clean, flat surface to avoid damage.

Mounting Options

The Elite Screens Manual Series M150UWH2 supports both dual wall and ceiling installation. Regardless of the mounting method, the screen should be securely supported so that vibration or pulling on the viewing surface will not cause the screen case to become loose or fall.

Flush Wall Mounting

1. Measure the distance between the keyholes located on the back of the screen's left and right end caps.
2. Mark the location on the wall where the screen is to be installed for the pre-drilled holes.
3. After marking the area and drilling the hole, insert the proper screw into the drilled hole and leave about 1/8" (3.2 mm) of an inch from the wall to mount the screen.
4. Mount your screen from the keyhole located on the back of the screen's left and right end cap.

Ceiling Installation (Optional)

You can also hang the screen on a ceiling by using a chain and hanging it by the two loops on the end caps. Ensure the chain and ceiling anchors are rated for the screen's weight (approximately 32.9 lbs).

Operating Instructions

CAUTION: Do not let go of the handle when retracting the screen to avoid damage from slamming up.

Always pull the screen down or let it up in a 90-degree vertical angle. Do not allow the screen to touch the screen case when the screen goes up or comes down, as it will damage the screen and void the warranty.

An internal auto-lock mechanism system will cause the screen to stop and lock on the position at intervals. To retract the screen back, simply pull the screen down more than 2 inches and retract the screen back by quickly and smoothly releasing it up gently.

RETRACTION TIP:

If you are not able to pull the screen down two inches when attempting to retract it, give the screen a quick yank downwards with a little bit of force. Please be sure to not stand directly under the housing of the unit when yanking down on the screen.

Note: Always release at a 90-degree angle and do not let go until the screen is entirely inside the case. If the screen feels stuck, keep in mind that the screen's mechanism is new and needs to be run up/down a few times to loosen up. If this happens, carefully with a little force yank the screen straight down to unlock the screen. Improperly bringing the screen up/down will damage the screen material or rolling system.

Maintenance

To clean the screen surface, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen material. Ensure the screen is completely dry before retracting it.

Troubleshooting

Screen Not Retracting Smoothly

• If the screen feels stuck or does not retract smoothly, it may be due to a new mechanism. Operate the screen up and down a few times to loosen it.
• Ensure you are pulling the screen down more than 2 inches before releasing it gently for retraction.
• If the screen is still stuck, give it a quick, firm yank downwards with a little force to unlock the mechanism. Always ensure you are not standing directly under the housing.

Wavy Screen Surface

Some users may experience minor waves in the screen material, especially with manual pull-down screens. While the MaxWhite 2 material is designed for flatness, environmental factors can sometimes contribute. Ensure the screen is installed correctly and allowed to hang for a period to settle.
