Aldes BW61 BDH 5-35/30 Hygro-regulated Extraction Vent
Model: 11015392
Description: Single-flow hygro-regulated extraction vent, Ø 125 mm, presence sensor, white.
Product Highlights
- Simplified maintenance thanks to its removable face.
- Unique design without grille.
- Roll-in seal for better airtightness.
Principle of Operation
In a hygro-regulated VMC system, airflow is automatically regulated based on room humidity levels, thus meeting the building's actual ventilation needs. The BDH vent is installed in sanitary rooms.
Product Description
The BDH is a hygro-regulated vent designed for technical rooms in individual homes and collective housing, for both new construction and renovation projects. It is a small-model hygro-regulated vent for flow rates < 50 m³/h.
Application Areas
- Collective residential housing
- Individual residential housing
- New construction
- Renovation
Installation
- The BDH must be installed in humid or technical rooms: bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms.
- The vent should be positioned at the top of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a height of at least 1.80 meters above the floor.
- The vent must be accessible and removable, with at least 20 cm clearance between the center of the vent and adjacent walls or surfaces not attached to the duct.
- The airtightness of the connection between the vent and the connecting duct must be optimal. This is improved by using a collar. A metal collar will be used for collective housing (stainless steel collar is mandatory for VMC Gaz). A plastic collar can be used for individual homes.
- For versions with a 125 mm diameter duct connection: the vent attaches directly (via push-fit with O-ring) into a collar, RT Flex duct, rigid or semi-rigid duct.
- For versions with an 80 mm diameter duct connection: attaches via push-fit into collars, rigid or semi-rigid ducts.
- For ceiling-mounted vents or vents above furniture, use a cord return (code 11015001).
- NOTE: For hygro-regulated vents with electric control, provide two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011).
- Hygro-regulated vents operate within the 80-160 Pa pressure range.
- Extraction vents must be maintained and checked at least once a year. It is forbidden to connect a mechanical extractor hood to the VMC network (Art. 14 - decree of March 24, 1982).
- Before replacing an old vent with a new one, take a pressure reading and note the type of housing concerned.
Key Features
- Small hygro-regulated vent (flow rates < 50 m³/h).
- Versions and accessories to meet all installation requirements.
- Easy maintenance: regulation sub-assembly is easily clip-on and clip-off; thanks to its removable casing, the BDH can be easily cleaned without being removed from the wall.
- Pressure range: 80 - 160 Pa.
