Aldes BW62 BDH 11015390 Hygrorégulable Extraction Vent
Technical Specifications and Features
Product Overview
The Aldes BW62 BDH is a hygrorégulable (humidity-sensitive) single-flow extraction vent designed for sanitary rooms such as bathrooms and WCs. It ensures sufficient and permanent extraction of indoor pollutants based on the room's humidity level.

Key Product Features
- Simplified maintenance thanks to its removable face.
- Unique design without a grille.
- Roll-in seal for improved airtightness.
Principles of Operation
In a hygrorégulable VMC (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system, the airflow is automatically regulated according to the humidity level in the rooms, thus adapting to the building's actual ventilation needs. The BDH vent is installed in sanitary areas.
Product Description
The BDH is a hygrorégulable vent intended for technical rooms in individual homes and collective housing, for both new builds and renovations. It is a small-model hygrorégulable vent for flow rates below 50 m³/h.
Application Domains
- Collective residential housing
- Individual residential housing
- New construction
- Renovation
Installation Guidelines
- The BDH must be installed in humid or technical rooms: bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms.
- The vent should be positioned at the upper part of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a height of at least 1.80 meters above the floor.
- The vent must be accessible and removable, with a distance of at least 20 cm between the center of the vent and adjacent walls or conduits.
- The airtightness of the connection between the vent and the connecting duct must be optimal. This is enhanced by using a sleeve. A metal sleeve is used for collective housing (stainless steel sleeve mandatory for VMC Gaz). A plastic sleeve can be used for individual homes.
- Versions with a 125 mm duct: the vent fixes directly (with a push-fit connection and O-ring) into a sleeve, RT Flex, rigid or semi-rigid duct.
- Versions with an 80 mm duct fix by push-fit into sleeves, rigid or semi-rigid ducts.
- For ceiling-mounted vents or vents above furniture, use a cord return (code 11015001).
- Note: For hygrorégulable vents with electric control, two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011) are required.
- Hygrorégulable vents operate within a pressure range of 80-160 Pa.
- Extraction vents must be maintained and checked at least once a year. It is prohibited to connect a mechanical hood to the VMC system (Art. 14 - decree of March 24, 1982).
- Before replacing an old vent with a new one, perform a pressure measurement and record the type of housing.
