Operating Principles
In a hygro-adjustable VMC system, airflow is automatically regulated according to room humidity levels, thus meeting the building's actual ventilation needs. The BDH vent is installed in sanitary rooms.

The BDH is a hygro-adjustable vent designed for technical rooms in individual homes and collective housing, for new builds and renovations. It is a small-model hygro-adjustable vent for flow rates < 50 m³/h.

Installation Guidelines
- BDH must be installed in humid or technical rooms: bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms.
- The vent should be positioned at the upper part of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a height of at least 1.80 meters above the floor.
- The vent must be accessible and removable, with at least 20 cm clearance between the center of the vent and adjacent walls, and not directly attached to the duct.
- The seal between the vent and the connecting duct must be optimal. This is improved by using a collar. A metal collar is used for collective housing (stainless steel collar mandatory for VMC Gaz). A plastic collar can be used for individual homes.
- Versions with a 125 mm duct: the vent connects directly (via push-fit with O-ring) into a collar, RT Flex, rigid or semi-rigid duct.
- Versions with an 80 mm duct connect via push-fit into collars, rigid or semi-rigid ducts.
- For ceiling-mounted or over-furniture vents with pull cords, use a pull cord diverter (code 11015001).
- NOTE: For electrically controlled hygro-adjustable vents, use two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011).
- Hygro-adjustable vents operate within the 80-160 Pa pressure range.
- Extraction vents must be maintained and checked at least once a year. It is forbidden to connect a mechanical hood to the VMC network (Art. 14 - decree of March 24, 1982).
- Before replacing an old vent with a new one, perform a pressure reading and note the type of dwelling concerned.
