Do not disassemble the water block; warranty will be voided.
Before proceeding, turn off system power and discharge static electricity from your body. If you are not comfortable performing the installation procedure, consult a qualified computer technician.
Step 1: Water Loop Planning
Examine the port overview to plan your water loop. The CPU and GPU are connected in parallel.
Port Overview:
- Fill/Air bleed port
- D140 IN
- CPU OUT
- CPU IN
- GPU OUT
- GPU IN
- D140 OUT
? PRO TIPs:
- Ensure you use the correct in and out ports for the CPU and GPU.
- Additional stop fittings are provided if only the CPU or GPU ports are used.
- The D140 IN and OUT ports can be reversed if necessary.
Step 2: Connect the D-RGB Cable
Connect the Phanteks D-RGB Cable to the LED strip at the top of the distribution plate.
? PRO TIPs:
- All Phanteks D-RGB products can be daisy-chained together.
- You can connect the D-RGB cable to a compatible motherboard using the included D-RGB MB adapter.
Connection point: Connect to Phanteks Case / Motherboard Cable.
Step 3: Install the Distribution Plate
Mount the Distribution Plate onto the rear panel of the chassis. Use the 4 included M4 screws.
Caution: Do not overtighten the M4 screws. (Max 1.5 N/m) ?❌
Step 4: Install the GPU
The GPU can be installed using the included GPU bracket.
- Remove the double-sided tape film and place the GPU bracket onto the GPU.
- Position the GPU within the system.
- Secure the GPU from the rear of the chassis using 2x M3 screws. Ensure screw positions are aligned. ?
Step 5: Installing Fittings
Install G1/4 threaded male fittings and close any remaining ports with the included Stop Fittings.
? PRO TIPs:
- Always perform a leak test before providing power to any system components.
- Carefully loosen the fill port stop fitting to let trapped air bleed out.
