Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is the device "Offline"?
A: Newly added devices may take 1-2 minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and the network. If it remains offline for an extended period, check the Wi-Fi LED status for troubleshooting.
- Wi-Fi LED flashes quickly once per second: The switch failed to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
- Possible causes:
- Incorrect Wi-Fi password entered.
- The router is too far, or environmental interference exists. Try moving the switch and router closer. If unsuccessful, re-add the device.
- The 5G Wi-Fi network is not supported; only 2.4GHz is compatible.
- MAC address filtering might be enabled on the router. Disable this feature.
- If the problem persists after trying the above steps, create a Wi-Fi hotspot using your phone's mobile data and attempt to re-add the device.
- Possible causes:
- Wi-Fi LED flashes quickly twice per second: The device connected to Wi-Fi but could not connect to the server.
- Ensure your network is stable. Frequent double flashing indicates an unstable network, which is not a product issue. If the network is stable, try powering off the switch and then powering it back on.
