Common Problems
Q: Why is my device showing as "Offline"?
A: A newly added device requires 1-2 minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and the network. If it remains offline for an extended period, check the status of the blue Wi-Fi indicator:
- Blue Wi-Fi indicator flashes once per second: The switch failed to connect to your Wi-Fi. Possible causes include:
- Incorrect Wi-Fi password entered.
- Device is too far from the router, or environmental interference. Move the device closer to the router. If unsuccessful, re-add the device.
- 5G Wi-Fi network is not supported; only 2.4GHz is supported.
- MAC address filtering is enabled on the router. Disable it.
- Blue indicator flashes twice per second: The device is connected to Wi-Fi but cannot connect to the server. Ensure your network is stable. Frequent double flashes indicate an unstable network, not a product issue. If the network is normal, try pressing the "Reset Button" or power cycling the switch.
