RF Remote Controller Pairing
The 4CHPROR3 supports remote controllers with a 433.92MHz frequency band for turning devices on/off. Each channel can learn independently, providing local short-range wireless control.
Pairing Method:
Long press the channel switch button for 3 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator turns red and flashes "quickly once". Release the button, then short press the button on the remote control to be paired. If the Wi-Fi LED indicator turns red and flashes "quickly once", it indicates successful pairing.
Clearing Method:
Long press the channel switch button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator turns red and flashes "quickly twice", then release. Short press the button to clear the code on the remote control. If the Wi-Fi LED indicator turns red and flashes "quickly once", it indicates the code has been cleared.
Switch Network
If you need to change the network, long press any pairing button for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator changes in a cycle of two short and one long flash and release. The device then enters quick pairing mode, and you can pair it again.
Factory Reset
Deleting the device on the eWeLink app restores it to factory settings.
Common Problems
Q: Why my device stays "Offline"?
A: The newly added device needs 1-2 minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and the network. If it remains offline for a long time, check the blue Wi-Fi indicator status:
- Blue Wi-Fi indicator flashes once per second: Indicates the switch failed to connect to your Wi-Fi. Possible reasons:
- Incorrect Wi-Fi password entered.
- Excessive distance between the switch and router, or environmental interference. Try moving closer to the router. If unsuccessful, try adding the device again.
- The 5G Wi-Fi network is not supported; only the 2.4GHz wireless network is compatible.
- MAC address filtering is enabled. Please disable it.
- If none of the above methods resolve the issue, try creating a Wi-Fi hotspot using your mobile phone's data network and then add the device again.
- Blue indicator flashes twice per second: Indicates the device has connected to Wi-Fi but failed to connect to the server. Ensure a stable network connection. Frequent double flashes may indicate an unstable network, not a product issue. If the network is normal, try turning off the power to restart the switch.
