The Aldes C66 BDH is a single-flow, hygro-regulated extraction vent designed for kitchens. It ensures sufficient and permanent extraction of indoor pollutants by automatically adjusting airflow based on the room's humidity level. This vent is suitable for individual homes and new or renovated collective housing, representing Aldes' large model hygro-regulated vent with a 50m³/h capacity.

Operating Principles

In a hygro-regulated VMC (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system, airflow is automatically regulated based on room humidity levels. This ensures that ventilation meets the building's actual needs, providing efficient air quality management. The BDH vent is specifically installed in kitchens for this purpose.

Installation Guidelines

Proper installation ensures optimal performance and longevity:

• Install the BDH vent in the kitchen.
• Position the vent at the top of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a minimum height of 1.80 meters above the floor.
• Ensure the vent is accessible and removable, with at least 20 cm clearance between its center and adjacent walls or surfaces not attached to the duct.
• Maintain optimal sealing between the vent and the connecting duct. A sleeve (sheet metal for collective housing, stainless steel mandatory for Gas VMC; plastic for individual homes) is recommended for improved sealing.
• The vent connects directly via push-fit with an O-ring into sleeves, RT Flex, or rigid/semi-rigid ducts.
• Versions without a collar can be fixed by clip onto collars of Ø 125 mm (Roll-in seal), Ø 116 mm (Roll-in seal), or Ø 100 mm (foam seal).
• To prevent rotation during peak flow, secure the vent with two Ø 3.5 x 35 mm screws and two Ø 6 x 35 mm wall plugs.
• For rope-operated vents on ceilings or above furniture, use a rope return device (code 11015001).
• For electrically controlled vents, ensure two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011) are provided.
• Hygro-regulated vents operate within a pressure range of 80-160 Pa.
• Extraction vents require annual maintenance and checks. Connecting a mechanical hood to the VMC system is prohibited by regulation (Art. 14 - decree of March 24, 1982).
• Before replacing an existing vent, record the current pressure and the dwelling type.
