Safety Instructions
- ❗ Caution! Installation must be performed by authorized and qualified technicians according to current electrical installation regulations.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for injuries or damage resulting from improper use.
- Maintenance: Clean only surfaces with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use water or other liquids for cleaning due to electrical safety.
- ⚠️ Caution! Risk of electric shock. Check the entire light for damage before connecting to the mains. Never use if damaged.
- ❗ Attention! Disconnect the mains cable from the power supply before assembly or disassembly. Switch off the earth leakage circuit breaker/automatic circuit breaker or unscrew the fuse. Ensure all switches are in the "OFF" position.
- ⚠️ Caution! Before drilling mounting holes, ensure no gas, water, or electricity pipes/wires can be drilled through or damaged.
- Ensure mounting material is suitable for the subsurface and that the subsurface has adequate load-bearing capacity. The manufacturer is not liable for improper installation.
- ♻️ Recycling: The symbol of a crossed-out garbage can means this product must not be disposed of with household waste. Return it to an approved collection point for electrical and electronic equipment recycling at the end of its life.
- ? Protection Class II: This light is specially insulated and must not be connected to an earthed conductor. Ensure supply lines are double or reinforced insulated.
- Terminal identification: L = Phase, N = Neutral conductor, G = Earthed conductor.
- Protective covers and end caps for mains voltage carrying parts must always be mounted.
- Do not install on damp or conductive surfaces.
- Ensure cables are not damaged during installation.
- ⚠️ Attention! Lamp parts and illuminants can reach temperatures exceeding 60°C during operation and must not be touched.
- The light has a protection rating of "IP20" and is intended exclusively for indoor use in private households.
- ? Light Source: The light source is not replaceable. The entire luminaire must be replaced when the light source reaches its end of life.
- This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class "F".
- Possible color deviations may occur with LEDs from different batches. Light color and brightness can also change over the lifespan.
- This article is not suitable for use with *external* dimmable circuits.
- The light features an integrated electronic step dimmer with "3" dimming levels. Levels are cycled by repeatedly switching the power on and off within a ">1" second interval.
- Memory Function: The lamp remembers the last selected function or switch position if switched on again after a minimum off period of approximately "5" seconds.
Mounting Instructions
Follow these steps for installation:
- Preparation: Gather necessary tools: drill, drill bit, screwdriver, measuring tape, pencil. Ensure the mounting surface is suitable and has adequate load-bearing capacity.
- Marking and Drilling: Mark the desired mounting points on the ceiling. Drill holes of appropriate size for the wall plugs. The diagram suggests holes should be at least 8mm deep.
- Fixing: Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes and secure the mounting bracket or fixture base using screws.
- Electrical Connection: ⚠️ Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding. Connect the wires according to terminal markings: L (Phase), N (Neutral), and G (Earth - if applicable, though Class II implies no earth connection is needed for the fixture itself, but the supply line might have one).
- Mounting the Fixture: Attach the light fixture to the mounting bracket or base.
- Securing Covers: Ensure all protective covers and end caps for mains voltage carrying parts are correctly mounted.
- Final Check: Verify all connections are secure and the fixture is firmly mounted.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the mounting process. It shows:
- Tools: A drill, drill bit, screwdriver, measuring tape, and pencil.
- Fixings: Screws and wall plugs.
- Electrical: Wires labeled L, N, and G, indicating connection points.
- Fixture: The light fixture itself, showing how it attaches to the ceiling.
- Symbols:
- A checkmark (✓) indicates correct installation.
- An 'X' symbol indicates incorrect practices, such as drilling into utilities.
- A temperature warning symbol (>60°C) indicates parts can get hot.
- A recycling symbol (crossed-out bin ♻️) indicates proper disposal requirements.
- A double square symbol (?) denotes Protection Class II.
- An IP20 rating symbol indicates protection against solid objects >12.5mm and no protection against water.
- An energy efficiency class F symbol is displayed.
- A dimmer symbol indicates the light has 3 dimming steps.
