Safety Instructions
- Installation must be performed by authorized and qualified technicians according to valid electrical installation regulations.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for injuries or damage resulting from improper use.
- Maintenance is limited to surfaces; ensure no moisture contacts terminal connections or mains voltage parts.
- Attention! Before installation, de-energize the mains power line by switching off the safety cutout or unscrewing the fuse. Ensure the switch is OFF.
- Warning! Before drilling, check for gas, water, or electricity pipes/wires at the mounting location.
- Ensure mounting material is suitable for the subsurface and that the subsurface has adequate load-bearing capacity. The manufacturer is not liable for improper installation.
- The symbol of a crossed-out garbage can (r) indicates the product must not be disposed of with household waste. Return it to an authorized collection point for electrical and electronic equipment recycling.
- Safety Class I. Connect the light to the earth terminal (G) using the earth conductor (green-yellow wire).
- Terminal designations: L = Phase, N = Neutral conductor, G = Earthed conductor.
- Protective covers and end caps for mains voltage parts must always be mounted.
- Do not install on damp or conductive surfaces.
- Ensure cables are not damaged during installation.
- Attention! Lamp parts and illuminants can reach temperatures over 60°C during operation and must not be touched.
- The light has a protection rating of "IP20" and is intended for indoor use in private households only.
- Do not look directly into the light source (LED, etc.).
- The light source is not replaceable; the entire luminaire must be replaced when the light source reaches its end of life.
- LED color and luminous strength may vary between batches and change over time.
- This article is not suitable for dimmable circuits. It is controlled by the included remote control.
- Remote control operation requires an unobstructed line of sight between the remote and the light.
Operation Instructions
The light can be controlled using the included remote control.
- "ON" button: Switches the light on with the last used setting.
- "OFF" button: Switches the light off.
- "100%" button: Switches the light on with a color temperature of approximately 4000K at 100% brightness.
- "Dim+" / "Dim-" buttons: Adjust brightness in stages or continuously.
- "WW" / "CW" buttons: Adjust color temperature towards warm white (WW) or cool white (CW) in stages or continuously.
- "Night Light" button: Switches the light to a very dim setting with a color temperature of approximately 3000K.
- "Timer" button: Switches the light off after approximately 30 minutes.
- "WW/NW/CW" button: Toggles color temperature through 3 stages between cool white and warm white.
- Electronic Changeover Switch (via power cycling): The color temperature can be controlled by switching the power supply on and off.
- 1 x ON: Sets color temperature to 3000K.
- 1 x OFF, then ON within 1 sec: Sets color temperature to 4000K.
- 1 x OFF, then ON within 1 sec: Sets color temperature to 6500K.
- Further switching cycles through the stages again.
- The switching method (standard, intermediate, or cross-circuit) does not matter; connection and disconnection of the mains voltage to the light source is key for color temperature switching.
- Memory Function: If the light is switched on via an external switch after a minimum off period of approximately 5 seconds, it will recall the last selected function or setting.
Installation Steps (Diagram Descriptions)
The following steps describe the general mounting process, referencing the diagrams:
- Step 1: Mark and drill mounting holes on the ceiling/surface.
- Step 2: Connect the wires (L, N, G) to the appropriate terminals inside the fixture.
- Step 3: Attach the light fixture to the mounting surface using screws.
- Step 4: Install end caps and covers on the fixture.
- Step 5: Connect the mains power supply to the fixture.
- Step 6: Ensure the fixture is securely mounted.
- Step 7: Insert batteries (2 x AAA) into the remote control.
Disposal of Batteries
Batteries or rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. They must be disposed of as hazardous waste according to regulations. Use designated collection points.
