Overview

This document provides an overview of the QCY Melobuds ANC True Wireless Earbuds.

Choose Eartips

Please try medium eartips first as they fit most people.

The earbuds feature a touch-sensitive panel for control. Key components include:

• LED Touch panel: For controlling functions.
• Pogo pins: For charging connection within the case.
• Mic: Microphone for calls and voice commands.

The charging case houses the earbuds and provides power. It connects via a Type-C cable. The package includes different sizes of eartips (S, L) for a personalized fit. Above pictures are for reference only and practical items may vary.

How to Connect

First Time Connection:

1. Pick up both earbuds, place them back in the charging case, and close the lid to activate them.
2. Open the lid, pick up the earbuds. They will automatically power on.
3. On your phone, search for "QCY Melobuds ANC" and tap to connect.

Switching Connection Between Two Devices:

Push the earbuds into the case, open the lid, and keep pressing the charging case button for 3 seconds or until the LEDs on the earbuds blink white. Then, pick up the earbuds. On the device, search for "QCY Melobuds ANC" and tap to connect.

Note: Earbuds cannot connect to two phones simultaneously. They will automatically reconnect to the last connected phone in the connectivity record.

Factory Setting

To reset the earbuds to factory settings:

1. Push the earbuds into the case, open the lid, and keep pressing the charging case button for 10 seconds. The LEDs on the earbuds will blink white 5 times.
2. After factory setting, the earbuds will automatically pair with each other and become connectable to a phone when picked up.

Charging Indicators:

Charging Earbuds: The LED will glow solid red when earbuds are charging and turn white for 30 seconds when fully charged.

Charging Case: The LED will glow solid red when the case is charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

How to Wear

To ensure optimal performance and comfort:

1. Please put on the earbuds properly and adjust them to fit yourself.
2. Set the microphone towards your mouth.
3. Wearing the earbuds incorrectly may result in a poor calling or listening experience.

LED on Case:

• Battery level of case ≥ 20%: LED is white.
• Battery level of case < 20%: LED is red.

Functions

The earbuds are controlled via the touch panel. Key functions include:

• Power-on: Keep pressing the touch panel for 1.5s [power symbol].
• Power-off: Push the earbuds into the case [power symbol].
• Answer/end call: Double press the touch panel [call symbol].
• Ignore call: Keep pressing the touch panel for 1.5s [call symbol].
• Skip track forward: Triple press the right touch panel [skip forward symbol].
• Voice assistant: Triple press the left touch panel [voice assistant symbol].
• Playback/pause: Double press the left/right touch panel to play/pause [play/pause symbol].
• Gaming mode: Keep pressing the left touch panel for 1.5s [gaming mode symbol].
• ANC mode: Keep pressing the right touch panel for 1.5s to switch among ANC, Normal, and Transparency modes [ANC mode symbol].

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Hazardous Substances and Their Contents

This form is made by SJ/T 11364 regulation. 'O' means that hazardous substance content in the homogeneous materials of this part is within the limits of (EU) 2015/863 regulation. 'X' means that hazardous substance content in, at least, one certain homogeneous material of this part is beyond the limits of (EU) 2015/863 regulation, but there is no mature alternative in the industry at present; it still conforms to the EU ROHS Directive in the scope of exemption.

Tips & Caveats

Tips:

1. Before using the earbuds, please read the manual carefully and keep it for future references.
2. The earbuds need to be fully charged prior to first-time use.
3. If the earbuds are left unused for over two weeks, please recharge them.
4. Please use chargers made by qualified manufacturers.
5. If the earbuds cannot be found by your phone, please check whether they are in pairing mode. If left unconnected for a long while, the earbuds will exit pairing mode; please re-enter the mode. If a procedure error of your phone occurs, reboot it. If a procedure error of the earbuds occurs, reboot or reset it.

Caveats:

1. Never disassemble or modify your earbuds for any reasons to avoid any damages and danger.
2. Do not store the earbuds in extreme temperatures (under 0°C or over 45°C).
3. Avoid using the indicator close to the eyes of children or animals.
4. Do not use the earbuds during a thunderstorm to avoid dysfunction and increasing risk of electric shock.
5. Do not use harsh chemicals or strong detergents to clean the earbuds.

Note: Please do not use earbuds for a long time as it may damage your hearing.
