This quick guide provides important operation and maintenance instructions for the Renogy ONE Core (referred to as Core). The Renogy ONE Core is available in two models: RSHGWSN-W02W-G1 (without CAN communication) and RSHGWSN-W02W-G2 and later versions (with CAN communication). Please read this guide carefully before operation and keep it for future reference. Failure to observe instructions or precautions may result in electrical shock, serious injury, or death, or damage to the Renogy ONE Core, potentially rendering it inoperable.

Get to Know Renogy ONE Core
The Renogy ONE Core features the following components:
- On/Off Button: Used to power the device on or off.
- Power Port: For connecting the power supply.
- Type-C Port: An alternative port for power connection.
- Communication Port: For installing a communication cable.
- Bubble Level: Assists in ensuring the device is mounted level.
- Mounting Holes: Points for securing the device to a surface.
Installation Site and Environment
To ensure optimal performance and functionality, consider the following:
- Mounting Location: Install vertically to the RV floor, with the screen facing front, rear, left, or right. RV leveling blocks may be used during the leveling process.
- Altitude Limit: Up to 5000m (≤5000m).
- Operating Temperature: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C).
- Operating Humidity: 0% to 95%.
- Handling Precautions: Keep Dry, Handle with Care (Fragile), Suitable for Indoor use.

- Phillips Screwdriver (#1)
- Insulation Tape
- Skill Saw or Impact Drill with Hole Saw (2.17in/55mm)
Mounting Template
A mounting template is provided for accurate hole drilling. The required hole size is 2.17 in x 2.17 in (55 mm x 55 mm).
Installation Steps
Step 1. Mount Renogy ONE Core
Follow these steps to mount the Renogy ONE Core:
- Use the provided paper mounting template. Tear it off and paste it to the desired mounting location for drilling holes.
- Drill holes according to the template. The template indicates the precise locations for mounting screws.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the surface using the mounting screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Align the Renogy ONE Core with the mounting bracket and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
Step 2. Connect Renogy ONE Core to a Power Supply
Connect the Renogy ONE Core to a power source using either the included power cable or an optional Type-C cable.
- Using Included Power Cable: Connect the DC power source (8V to 35V). When connecting, attach the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.
- Using Type-C Cable (Optional): Connect a 5V DC power source via the Type-C port.
Step 3. Install a Communication Cable (Optional)
For advanced connectivity, install a communication cable (maximum length: 19.6 ft / 6 m). This cable is used to connect to devices utilizing RS-485 or CAN communication protocols, such as RSHGWSN-W02W-G2 and RSHGWSN-W02W-G3 models.
Step 4. Power On/Off
To power the Renogy ONE Core on or off, long-press the On/Off Button for 5 seconds.
Step 5. Pairing with the Renogy App
For initial setup, follow the on-screen startup wizard to pair the Core with the Renogy app. Alternatively, navigate to O > System > Pair with App on the device and follow the instructions, which may involve scanning a QR code with your smartphone.
Step 6. Add Devices
The Renogy ONE Core can wirelessly connect to various Renogy devices simultaneously, including Renogy Bluetooth, Bluetooth mesh, and Zigbee devices. The device discovery process allows you to add controllers, batteries, smart plugs, inverters, and door sensors.
RV Leveling (for Regions Outside the U.S.)
The RV leveling function is available for regions outside the U.S. Calibration is required each time the installation site for the Core is changed to ensure accurate leveling data.
Important Safety Instructions
- Keep the Renogy ONE Core out of the reach of children.
- Dispose of the Renogy ONE Core according to local, state, and federal laws and regulations, using designated recycling channels.
- Do not expose the Renogy ONE Core to flammable or harsh chemicals or vapors.
- The Renogy ONE Core contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not open, dismantle, repair, or modify the device.
- Confirm the polarities of devices before connecting them to a power supply. Incorrect polarity can damage the Core and void the warranty.
- Ensure the connected DC power supply is rated between 8V and 35V. Exceeding this range may cause power-on failure or permanent damage.
- An extended power cable can be used as needed. Refer to the Renogy ONE Core User Manual for details.
