Before Getting Started
This quick guide provides essential operation and maintenance instructions for the Renogy ONE Core (referred to as Core). The Renogy ONE Core is available in two models: RSHGWSN-W02W-G1 (without CAN communication) and RSHGWSN-W02W-G2 (with CAN communication).
Read this quick guide thoroughly before operation and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow the instructions or precautions can lead to electrical shock, serious injury, or death, and may damage the Renogy ONE Core, rendering it inoperable.

Get to Know RENOGY ONE Core
The Renogy ONE Core features:
- Mounting Holes: For securing the device.
- On/Off Button: For powering the device on/off.
- Communication Port: For connecting communication cables.
- Bubble Level: Aids in ensuring the device is mounted level.
- Power Port: For connecting the power supply.
- Type-C Port: Alternative power input.
Installation Site and Environment
Suitable Installation Locations: The device can be installed in various locations within an RV, typically mounted vertically to the RV floor. Ensure the screen is oriented towards the front, rear, left, or right side for the RV leveling function.

- Altitude: Up to 5000m (16404 ft)
- Temperature: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C)
- Humidity: 0% to 95%

NOTE: To enable the RV leveling function, install the Renogy ONE Core in a spot with the screen facing the desired direction (front, rear, left, or right) and vertically to the RV floor. Using RV leveling blocks is recommended during the leveling process.
Required Tools
Tools are only required for flush mounting on a wall.
- Phillips Screwdriver (#1)
- Insulation Tape
- Skill Saw
- Impact Drill with Hole Saw (2.17in / 55mm)
NOTE: You can use either a skill saw or an electric drill with a hole saw.
Step 1 (A): Place Renogy ONE Core on a Table
The package box is designed to be environmentally friendly and can be used as a bracket to hold the Core when wall installation is not required.
Instructions:
- Prepare the package box.
- Insert the Core into the prepared section of the box.
- The Core is now held securely.
NOTE: The RV leveling function is unavailable when the Core is placed on a table.
Step 1 (B): Mount Renogy ONE Core on a Wall
Instructions:
- Use the provided mounting template (tear off and paste to the desired location) or another piece of paper as a template. The installation hole size is 2.17 in x 2.17 in (55 mm x 55 mm).
- Align the template on the wall and mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes at the marked points.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the mounting screws. Ensure it is level using the bubble level.
- Connect the power cable and communication cable (if applicable) to the back of the Core.
- Align the Core with the bracket and slide it into place until it clicks.
- Ensure the device is securely mounted.
Diagrams illustrate using the template, drilling, attaching the bracket, connecting cables, and snapping the Core into place.
Step 2: Connect Renogy ONE Core to a Power Supply
Connect the Renogy ONE Core to a power supply using either the included power cable or an optional Type-C cable.
Installed on a Wall
- Using Power Cable: Connect the included power cable to the Power Port on the Core and to a DC power source (8V-32V). Ensure correct polarity: connect the negative terminal first, then the positive.
- Using Type-C Cable (Optional): Connect a 5V DC Type-C cable to the Type-C Port on the Core.
Installed on a Table
- Using Power Cable: Connect the included power cable to the Power Port on the Core and to a DC power source (8V-32V). Ensure correct polarity: connect the negative terminal first, then the positive.
- Using Type-C Cable (Optional): Connect a 5V DC Type-C cable to the Type-C Port on the Core.
NOTE: When installing the power cable, always connect the negative first, and then the positive.
Step 3: Install a Communication Cable (Optional)
For detailed instructions, refer to the Renogy ONE Core User Manual by scanning the QR code in the guide (QR code not displayed).
Connect the Communication Cable (max length: 19.6 ft / 6 m) to the Communication Port on the Core and to compatible devices (e.g., RS-485 or CAN for RSHGWSN-W02W-G2).
Step 4: Power On/Off
Long press the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to power the Core on or off.
Step 5: Pairing with DC Home
For initial startup, follow the startup wizard on the Core to pair it with the DC Home app. Alternatively, navigate to > System > Pair with App on the device.

Step 6: Add Devices
The Renogy ONE Core can wirelessly connect to Renogy Bluetooth, Bluetooth mesh, and Zigbee devices concurrently.
Process:
- On the Renogy ONE Core, select "Add Devices".
- The device scans for nearby Renogy devices (Controllers, Batteries, Smart Plugs, Inverters, Sensors, etc.).
- Select devices to add and confirm. The Core can also connect to the Internet.

RV Leveling
The Renogy ONE Core features an RV leveling function.
Calibration: RV leveling calibration is required each time the installation site for the Core is changed.

Important Safety Instructions
- Keep Renogy ONE Core out of the reach of children.
- Dispose of Renogy ONE Core according to local, state, and federal laws and regulations, using designated recycling channels. Do not dispose of as household waste.
- Do not expose Renogy ONE Core to flammable or harsh chemicals or vapors.
- There are no serviceable parts inside. Do not open, dismantle, repair, tamper with, or modify the device.
- Confirm the polarities of connected devices before powering the Renogy ONE Core. Reverse polarity contact can cause damage and void the warranty.
- Ensure the connected DC power supply is rated between 8V to 32V. Exceeding this range can cause power-on failure or permanent damage.
- An extended power cable can be used if needed. Refer to the Renogy ONE Core User Manual for details.

The device complies with RF exposure guidelines. Canadian information on RF exposure and compliance can be obtained. The minimum distance from the body to use the device is 20cm.
