Before Getting Started

This quick guide provides important operation and maintenance instructions for Renogy ONE Core (referred to as Core). Renogy ONE Core is available in two models: RSHGWSN-W02W-G1 (without CAN communication) and RSHGWSN-W02W-G2 and later versions (with CAN communication).

Read this quick guide carefully before operation and save it for future reference. Failure to observe the instructions or precautions can result in electrical shock, serious injury, or death, or damage to the Renogy ONE Core, potentially rendering it inoperable.

Get to Know Renogy ONE Core

Components:

Installation Site and Environment

Site Requirements:

Step 1: Mount Renogy ONE Core

Mounting Template: Tear off the mounting template and paste it to the desired mounting location for drilling holes. The installation hole size is 2.17 in x 2.17 in (55 mm x 55 mm).

Mounting Process:

  1. Align the mounting template and drill holes.
  2. Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  3. Secure the bracket with screws.
  4. Attach the device to the bracket.
  5. Ensure the device is level using the bubble level.
  6. Connect the necessary cables (power, communication).
  7. Slide the device onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

Step 2: Connect Renogy ONE Core to a Power Supply

Connect the Renogy ONE Core to a power supply using either the included power cable or an optional Type-C cable.

NOTE: When connecting the power cable, always connect the negative first, then the positive.

Step 3: Install a Communication Cable (Optional)

For details, refer to the Renogy ONE Core User Manual. The communication cable has a maximum length of 19.6 ft (6 m).

Step 4: Power On/Off

Long press the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to power the Core on or off.

Step 5: Pairing with the Renogy App

For initial startup, follow the on-screen wizard to pair the Core with the Renogy app. Alternatively, navigate to System > Pair with App.

Step 6: Add Devices

Renogy ONE Core can wirelessly connect to Renogy Bluetooth, Bluetooth mesh, and Zigbee devices concurrently.

RV Leveling (for Regions Outside the U.S.)

RV leveling calibration on Renogy ONE Core is required each time the installation site is changed.
