Before Getting Started
This quick guide provides important operation and maintenance instructions for the Renogy ONE Core (referred to as Core). The Renogy ONE Core is available in two models: RSHGWSN-W02W-G1 (without CAN communication) and RSHGWSN-W02W-G2 and later versions (with CAN communication). Please read this guide carefully before operation and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow instructions or precautions may result in electrical shock, serious injury, or death, or damage to the Renogy ONE Core, potentially rendering it inoperable.

Get to Know RENOGY ONE Core
The Renogy ONE Core unit features:
- Mounting Holes: Multiple points for secure attachment.
- On/Off Button: For powering the device.
- Power Port: For connecting the power supply.
- Bubble Level: Integrated for ensuring vertical installation.
- Communication Port: For connecting communication cables.
- Type-C Port: An alternative port for power connection.
Installation Site and Environment
Ensure the installation site meets the following conditions:
- Orientation: The device should be installed vertically to the RV floor, with the screen facing the front, rear, left, or right side of the RV. RV leveling blocks are recommended during the leveling process.
- Altitude: Up to 5000m ⛰️.
- Temperature: -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C) ?️.
- Humidity: 0% to 95% ?.
- Conditions to Avoid: Exposure to rain ?️, fire ?, strong winds ?, or extreme temperatures ?️. The unit should be kept dry and is suitable for indoor use.
Required Tools
You will need:
- Phillips Screwdriver (#1) ?️
- Insulation Tape
- Skill Saw or Impact Drill with Hole Saw (2.17in / 55mm) ?
Mounting Template
Please use the provided template for drilling mounting holes. The required hole size is 2.17 inches (55 mm) in diameter.

Step 1. Mount Renogy ONE Core
Follow these steps to mount the Renogy ONE Core:
- Prepare Template: Place the mounting template on the desired surface for drilling.
- Mark Holes: Secure the template and mark the drilling locations.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes according to the template markings.
- Attach Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the surface using screws.
- Install Cover: Attach the blue plastic cover/ring to the mounting bracket.
- Check Level: Ensure the device is oriented correctly and level using the integrated bubble level.
- Secure Bracket: Tighten the mounting bracket screws.
- Connect Cables: Connect the power cable and communication cable (if applicable) to the back of the Renogy ONE Core unit.
- Align Device: Align the Renogy ONE Core unit with the mounting bracket at a 45° angle.
- Attach Device: Push the unit onto the bracket until it clicks securely into place.

Step 2. Connect Renogy ONE Core to a Power Supply
You can power the Renogy ONE Core using either the included power cable or an optional USB-C cable.
- Included Power Cable: Connect to a DC power source (8V to 35V ?). Ensure correct polarity: connect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
- Optional USB-C Cable: Connect to a 5V DC power adapter ?.
Step 3. Install a Communication Cable (Optional)
Connect a communication cable (max length: 19.6 ft / 6 m) to link the Renogy ONE Core with other devices, such as Renogy HUB, RS-485, or CAN-compatible controllers, batteries, and inverters.

Step 4. Power On/Off
To power the Renogy ONE Core on or off, long-press the On/Off Button for 5 seconds.

Step 5. Pairing with DC Home
For initial setup, follow the on-screen startup wizard to pair the Core with the DC Home app. Alternatively, navigate to O > System > Pair with App on the device.
- Follow the device prompts or navigate the menu.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the Renogy ONE Core screen using the DC Home mobile app on your smartphone to complete the pairing process.

Step 6. Add Devices
The Renogy ONE Core can wirelessly connect to Renogy Bluetooth, Bluetooth mesh, and Zigbee devices simultaneously.
- On the Renogy ONE Core, select "Add Devices".
- The device will discover nearby Renogy devices (e.g., Controllers, Batteries, Smart Plugs, Inverters, Door Sensors) and display them with their respective icons.
- Connect the Renogy ONE Core to the internet ? to enable data synchronization with the mobile app.

RV Leveling (for Regions Outside the U.S.)
RV leveling calibration on the Renogy ONE Core is required each time the installation site for the Core is changed.

Important Safety Instructions
- Keep Renogy ONE Core out of the reach of children.
- Dispose of Renogy ONE Core according to local, state, and federal laws and regulations, using designated recycling channels. Do not dispose of as household waste.
- Do not expose Renogy ONE Core to flammable or harsh chemicals or vapors.
- There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not open, dismantle, repair, or modify the unit.
- Before connecting to a power supply, confirm the polarities of the devices. Reverse polarity contact can damage the Core and void the warranty.
- Ensure the connected DC power supply is rated between 8V and 35V. Connecting to a power source outside this range may cause power-on failure or permanent damage.
- An extended power cable can be used on demand. Refer to the Renogy ONE Core User Manual for details.

The device is compliant with RF exposure guidelines. Users can obtain Canadian information on RF exposure and compliance. The minimum distance from the body to use the device is 20cm.
