Typically, operating a tap involves lifting the lever straight up. On conventional taps, this action releases both cold and hot water simultaneously. However, this often leads to hot water being unnecessarily retained within the valve system, resulting in wasted energy.

The BROGRUND mixer tap is designed with an innovative energy-saving feature. When the lever is lifted straight up, it exclusively dispenses cold water. This design choice significantly reduces the waste of hot water. To access hot water, the lever should be moved to the left before lifting.
